Oops I didn't read live album. Well still stands as best Japanese cult classic
You shoulda posted Num-Heavymetallic then you faggot.
:(
They are different styles. Fishmans was mostly a dub and dream pop band with some Oricon hits even.Their intention was mostly to give you good vibes with beautiful music. But, They did experiment with strong noise to good success once but I doubt they would ever get as edgy or lo-fi as LRD in their peak.
I'd compare Fishmans with Flipper's Guitar, Lamp, and at most, with late era Boredoms. I think Fishmans style is much closer to citypop, jazzy picopop or shibuya kei than harsh noise rock...but they have strong rock moments as well.
This would be a more fit comparison, both hard hitting, imo fushitsutsa wins because Keiji Haino and Mikami Kan are goat tier
do I have a bad rip of this album or is there just no mastering whatsoever? I have to adjust the volume for a lot of tracks. Still a great album though.
