Theoretical physics is not the whole of science. I'm a biologist for example. We only discover things that are there, and the only maths we use is statistics and the kind of computing necessary to bioinformatics and creating proteins structures.

Light as we know it is a spectrum based upon matter. The different wavelengths of light behave differently based upon what matter they come in contact with. What has been discovered is the start of the series of light that acts/reacts in antimatter. Considered it the opposite of light as you would imagine it, however it acts the exact same. Light physics do not change relative to matter physics as far as we now know.
