Better than Darkthrone's early albums.

That's fair. It's definitely better than Soulside Journey and Transylvanian Hunger, but Under a Funeral Moon is one of my favorite black metal albums ever. Still though, everything done as Isengard is phenomenal.

Final bump before bed.

Forest is great.

Isengard is fucking great

Rec me some hangover BM

...

numales again prove their taste is just like their testosterone level - severely lacking

Rec me some hangover BM

I manage a small black/doom metal label/distro, but I've spent 10x more copper doubloons on CDs and merch than I've made. How do I get you people to buy shit!

(I'm not posting my label name because this aint craigs list or Black people Meet)

> This aint craigs list or black people meet breh!

Alright, here's my top 4 for the past few days

looking for black metal sounding music like this

devilmaster.bandcamp.com/releases

Negura Bunget - Om

Looking at your "top 4 for the past few days" I can already tell that your taste is shit, and I have absolutely no interest in your "metal label/distro". Perhaps try to sell something that's actually good?

Fides Inversa

Panopticon / Waldgefluster made a really good split record last year

Bumping with these essentials

ONLY TRUE BELIEVERS

What the fuck are you saying? Darkthrone is nu-male approved. Isengard is nu-male repellent by its nature.

Dunno who made this flowchart but it's fantastic

We could compare Soulside Journey to anything Isengard if it was BM but it isn't.

I would also recommend Midnight Odyssey's newest album as space BM

I love black metal, but hate the racism. What bands should I listen too?

grand belial's key

Give Fanisk a go

Absurd

Goatmoon is cool

Ulver

Antestor, early Ulver, Mayhem, Burzum, Anorexia Nervosa, Glaciation

Not A blaze or Punkthrone tho

That's the way it should be.

lel

I'm not caught up with terminology, could use a point in the right direction.

Any similar bands to Goatmoon in terms of the sound? I don't care about content like this fag.

This album is SO FUCKING good

can't you just listen to the music?

I can totally understand if someone doesn't want to listen to music with racist content.

It's basically the same as not listening to music that's only about sex, drugs and fucking.

>first black metal album is A Blaze in the Northern Sky
>buy special edition with bonus commentary disk
>wtf i love metal now
>listen to the 2nd disc over a year later
>mfw the band only considers one song on the album to be black metal and would erase most of the songs

Looks like you got PUNK'D

Ok, was just asking. As a nigger it never rellay bothered me, but I can understand that too.

Satanic Warmaster, Bilskirnir, Hammer (Finland), Nekrokrist SS, Absurd, Sargeist, Behexen, Sielunvihollinen, White Death, Horna, Aryan Blood, Moonblood, Azazel

Check out Ildjarn's black metal albums for a sound similar to the first two Goatmoon albums, but more raw.

yes
this album is a fucking 10/10 beautiful masterpiece

it's fucking shit the only good thing about it is Ross on blackened noise that was funny I'll give it that

Do bands have the right to do this? Is it out of their hands once the album is released? It almost feels like monday morning quarterbacking

i like these guys
youtube.com/watch?v=12_hqzpqhOI

mortuusinsomnis is still down lads, is it ever coming back?

This album is good, listen to it, faggots.

satanic warmaster

Cosmic Church.

This was better.

I discovered them 2 days ago, will listen to this one tomorrow. Have you heard this one? It's not bad.

youtube.com/watch?v=ekYlRhALiRQ

This one is short, but fucking great:
youtube.com/watch?v=bahrmFEVGzw&t=187s

music industry isn't a viable business. there's too many pirates these days

is this album a meme?

I would've put Elderwind together with Summoning and Caladan Brood
>also no Emyn Muil in this category

>Depressive BM
I would've added Cry of Silence

>War Metal
>no Nargaroth
it's like he's doing this on purpouse

>Raw BM
>no Funeral Mist
>no Azarath

it's a good chart, there are many bands I didn't know and very solid recs as well.
Saved

I'm FUCKING ANRGY

What's so angry black metal.

I challenge you not to do extremely violent things while listening to this
youtube.com/watch?v=4x2YJuji5JY

>t.Nigger
Don't listen to black metal if you aren't white

Why is this album so highly regarded? Were there not more brutal releases in 1988?

no one has touched blasphemy since, let alone in 1988
it's fucking nuclear war gods of war

and this wasn't released in 1988 where did you come up with that, fallen angel was 1990 and the demo (which is fucking amazing by the way) as a year prior

Tbh I can't understand this album, its so fucking fuzzy/grainy I can barely hear shit. Nothing has any impact at all, it sounds like its 100 miles away.

Man, Thank u so much.

I have been searching on finnish black metal bc i loved this kind of black metal. Hämys is like a punkish black metal, correct me if i'm wrong. I see they have some incluences by Horna, Sergeist, and Satanic Warmaster. Any simmilar band please?. it doesn't matter if is not precisely black metal. Also, some knows if they gonna release a new piece soon?
Just listen at them, they're like a perfect balance between melodic and rythm.

youtube.com/watch?v=sK45jO3QEuk

Simply but catchy.

>youtu.be/Hvgrcm8hxNM?t=31
this sounds to me like sum41, not black metal
if you want something close to horna, sargeist and SW listen to Musta Surma, their first demo is essential black metal

if you want something with lots of melody and nice grooves check out the last taake album and maybe latter blodsrit
youtube.com/watch?v=XFaMS3uvZTc
and for something with punk energy that is really dark
youtube.com/watch?v=aRmcn1lKU54
also stuff like bone awl and cirrhus, especially the latter, because they have a lot of punk rhythms and extremely melodic riffs, their self-titled EP is their best

honestly you'll probably dig shining, I don't listen to them but they seem closer to what you want
youtube.com/watch?v=XClbTuIjuho

and pest - daudafaerd
black metal masterpiece, very melodic and catchy

these should only be weekly threads else it's just gonna turn into people posting the same 12 albums over and over or /metal/ shitposting

Thanks mate!.

Not if we just post different albums

fuck off

>includes moonsorrow,Deafheaven,Arcturus,in the woods...,zeal and ador, liturgy, and has an entire section for dungeon synth and one for space black but no mention of Impaled Nazerine,Horna,SIGH,or Absu
>Agalloch isn't real black metal but somehow Liturgy is?
looks like pure cancer desu

Moonsorrow, Arcturus and In The Woods are fucking great you nigger.

My extended family is literally Mormon but ok
Agalloch beats Moonsorrow by a long shot

I'm not refering to you as a nigger in a literal sense, and it would be weird since im not even white myself.

>panzer division marduk
>raw black metal
>including zeal and ardor ever
>dungeon synth
>no greek section
shite chart desu

Name?

The True Werwolf - Demo IX
