I get what you're saying and you do have a valid point. My issue is that while with most "meme artists" there's some phrase or joke that gets aggressively posted when the artist is mentioned in a thread and in my time here I haven't seen that happen to The Mountain Goats. Still, you are right that everything on Sup Forums is a meme.
