Hoping to find some time to do my part for an upcoming split with some friends. In the meantime, listen to some crappy drone haha.

I've been working on my own new album but I'm also involved in another project with another group currently.
At this time I'd say my album is maybe 80% finished since there's still some mixing, vocals and maybe final instruments to add.

>"Atonement" is a three-way ambient split based on the idea of mortality, death and funeral. Each of us created an epic relying on these themes trying to provide the emotions that surround these dark days which haunts us all.

Trust me, I'm incredibly eager to release my newest material. It's been slowly made over the last 6 - 8 months but I also fear that might cause high expectations.
>but I also fear that might cause high expectations
That's your anxiety speaking. Don't listen to that cunt
Hard not to. I feel like some might expect time to mean quality.
I'm happy with how it sounds though, I wouldn't say it's amazing, but I can definitely say it's enjoyable (to me and those who I've played bits to anyway).

Damn, this is recorded so well. The drums really help carry everything with the traditional gaze washed out guitar. Seriously impressed :D Youngstown is not too far from Detroit so maybe we can play a show sometime!
above comment was to you!
These are some well put together songs, very melodic and powerful, i would just spend as much time working on learning more effective recording techniques and working on some of the vocals. Good work dudes!
This is bretty fresh, i'm loving some of the pads and you take on that Carpenter-vibe head on with a good payoff. I think the new step would be to take on some more challenging chord progressions, as the tracks become very similar after a while. Keep it up, looking forward to an album!
haven't recorded anything in a while, but i'll throw this up

time doesn't equate to quality, just like how rapidness doesn't necessarily equate to sloppiness. I like to think most people know this but I still feel self-conscious if I release too much stuff
Thanks for the feedback. Self recorded and produced with not much experience so makes sense. Just a first EP. Next one will be professionally recorded!
Love the guitar work. So heavy and big sounding and the little post rock breakdown in track three is on point. Love the little bend you throw in there.
Hey, I'm on that split! I'm quite pleased with how that came out. If anyone wants to hear more Einhorn stuff:

recs (listened to before):
This is a really bad rendition of The Neverhood soundtrack
These are a sounds that feel well if only for quite cringy vocals on the second streamable track
This is the sound of bliss which I feel I could listen to only on some very specific occasions but they are made so well I feel like others would enjoy it
This is goddamn cool
This has some fantastic background behind it but I feel that the execution could be a ton better. Hopefully this will be addressed in a new release
These are pure love
New EP for anyone that missed the last one.
I have a few more projects to put out before the year is over, just been addicted to creating content lately
This is good, reminds me a lot of Eliane Radigue

Yes, we should get rolling on this!
This was really great. Definitely creates a grim and desolate atmosphere. The ordering of the tracks was really smart too. This split made me realize I really need to check out more stuff Epiglottis!
Really love this man, looking forward to more black metal in the future

Newest album is The American, it's post-punk inspired protest folk stuff, all money goes to charities.
New album coming April probably.

crashing skies: Builds up really nicely. Great counterpoints and rhythmic ideas. It put me in a good mood.
What Have You Heard: I like the lo-fi sound and raw delivery, and the drums are cool, but it could be a little tighter, rhythmically.
Ghosts Under the Cloak: Cool artwork. It has a pretty unique vibe. I like how awkward the rhythm, it's very expressive.
Interweb Companionship: Very punk, I like it. The guitar is slightly out of tune, and I think a better mic would be hugely beneficial.
Mind Generator: It's nice to listen to some programmed music, but it does feel a bit flat. You should put out more stuff! That shit is old.
Counterpart: Awesome production, it's quite refreshing and intense. I love the drums.
Hangover In Buffalo: Love the early 2000's R&B samples. Nice flow. I'll be checking out your other stuff.
Bubbles: It's a beautiful song, and the instrumentation is on point. That artwork is stunning.

I agree the vocals are pretty cringy, I recorded that song when I was like 15 and I just recently found it on an old PC. I still liked it so I decided to put it on there without editing it.

You need to make your voice more audible
I like the little bit of lyrics I am hearing but it's annoying not being able to hear you.
It's pretty funny, but close to seeming unintentionally funny. Embrace the absurdity. The singing in the chorus a bit feels awkward, rhythmically. The mix needs a lot of work IMO. The vocals are too loud, and they could use some compression. Keep it up.
