Can we finally bury this chuckle fuck...

Can we finally bury this chuckle fuck? I don't think I've ever seen anyone expose themselves as totally and completely as he did in this video. Anthony Fantano is fucking garbage.

...

>"guys we need to stop talking about this guy!"
>posted as a thread about the guy

Kanye rankings are widely debated on here anyway.

His rankings were one of a million varieties I've seen on here. The only consistent thing I've seen with the rankings is Graduation being middle->bottom of the list.

post a summary so I can read it instead. or a transcript

>Waaah I don't agree with his opinions on one artist

It's obvious he did it to make some extra cash, can't hate a player for being smart

here's the list:

9. Cruel Summer (1:10)
8. Yeesus (2:20)
7. Watch the Throne (3:35)
6. The Life of Pablo (5:38)
5. Graduation (7:40)
4. 808s and Heartbreak (10:15)
3. Late Registration (12:47)
2. MBDTF (14:10)
1. The College Dropout (16:40)

time-stamps because I copied it from a comment

From worst to best:
>Cruel Summer
>Yeezus
>Watch the Throne
>TLOP
>Graduation
>808s
>LR
>MBDTF
>CD

Note he put Cruel Summer as last simply because it was on the list he responded to. He said Yeezus is his least favorite

I haven't heard most of these in a while but College Dropout was pretty big when it came out so he might be riding that train. All this Kanye not a rapper nonsense got settled then and there.

That said MBDTF is his best as much as like old school Kanye.
MBDTF > Late Reg > Yeezus > The College Dropout > else

>putting Yeezus at the bottom of his list
>straight up not understanding it at all, meanwhile he jerks off MC Ride just out of frame
>shitting all over MBDTF even though it's second on his list, "I STILL DON'T LIKE IT GUYS I'M NOT TAKING IT BACK"
>STILL somehow not understanding that album
>putting graduation that high
>putting pablo that low
Yeah fuck this guy

Pablo is a bit flashy and it's neither his best nor his worst. Middle of the pack is fair

Before someone rationalizes this as being that Melon put them in order of importance to Ye's career, I would say that Yeezus is extremely important to his career and in that case should be far higher up

Thanks for bringing this up OP.

Anthony is so fucked up in his mind about rankings and ratings that he has an "objectively it's this" and "subjective, in my opinion" platform to this video.
It's ridiculous because the only thing that matters is how much the listener enjoys something. He put MBDTF @ #2 only because of its critical acclaim and what it means for his career. That was literally his criteria for putting that at #2. It makes me think about what goes on in his head before rating anything because obviously he can't see things just from a feeling aspect he gets within the music.

Pablo is shit though

it's a bit more interesting to go at it from a "I'm a reviewer and my opinion matters" standpoint than a "these are the things I like" standpoint. It's all subjective but you can incorporate some objective measures

I thought he didn't like MBDTF?

When you say important to his career, do you mean like it was a turning point? I am genuinely wondering :)

Not that guy but it was for sure a watershed moment. He took a step back from making Pop music and made something sonically out there with Pop templates. He did the same thing on TLOP and I haven't heard 808s but it sounds like that might have been a similar deal.

WHY IS THE CAPTCHA SO FAGKKING SLOW

he's interesting to watch for nearly 1mil people so please calm down and get over it.

bad thread

you mean the ones where you click stuff until they all disappear? same things been happening to me. should probably switch to legacy captcha

yes, doing that now

>he has MBDTF ranked 2nd
>gave it the worst review

the backpeddle is strong with this one

he liked it, but not as an album

Graduation should be higher because that was the album that pushed him from great rapper to icon

not a bad list. pretty much what most people think for the first half. 2nd half of list no one cares anyways those albums are shit and can be any order.

In terms of importance to Ye's career, Anthony's order is nearly 100% correct (Graduation's placement is the only qualm). From an artistic standpoint though, it's just fucking laughable. And it's apparent he didn't even go for mediation between the two.

wtf is this supposed to mean

he said he still doesn't like it but he couldn't deny it's significance to Kanye's career

Bull. Graduation is his one single pedestrian album. It sounds exactly like everything else that came out around that time. Ironically this is one of the Melon's only points from the video that I agree with. He just let his own personal opinion bias him too much and put it higher than it should be.

Shit video. Each "analysis" is absolutely horrible. Never seen Fantano look more amateurish and less knowledgable than he does here.

he liked it as a ringtone

>Putting Yeezus and TLOP that low
>Claiming to be a reliable source of music reviews

Do you really need approval from Sup Forums to disregard his opinions before you actually do so? I didn't know someone could be this much of an impotent faggot until you made this thread.

The only thing more insecure than Kanye are his fans.

Should fantano hate threads be a general at this point? They don't accomplish anything but they keep getting posted.

lol this and a waifu/top 40 general.
