Once Upon a Time in America is my personal favorite. Casino does the best job of portraying the criminal element of the pre-1980s gambling world in the USA. Goodfellas is the best at portraying some guido and kike criminals getting up to no good.

Also, an overlooked gangster movie that I feel should be mentioned is State of Grace. It rarely gets mentioned and has some excellent performances.

once upon a time in america is barely even a ganster film. that and the gangster elements were nonsense and totally inaccurate. still a great movie though.

This one is to me is on the same level of legendary story telling....but its probably 3 to 5 times as "Kino"....Overall 9.0/10
