Allen just seems like a way creepier dude than Polanski.

Polanski also makes better movies.

Crimes & Misdemeanors and Interiors are more tastefully done high drama than anything Polanski.

i don't really dislike woody either but he has a naturally hate-able face and his films aren't nearly as interesting as roman's

That movie with Larry David playing a role obviously written for Woody was the worst. For some reason when Scarjo reads lives that are obviously his voice it works, but Larry David trying to emulate young Woody Allen was cringe inducing.

Yeah I still need to watch that one. But I can't wait for Eisenberg's turn at the "young Woody" character. The trailer looked marvelous.

Woody needs to slow down some, he can make great movies when he tries but he makes a new one every few months so they often come out as rushed and uninspired.
