I'm making a chart of albums made by people who later committed suicide. What are some more albums I should add?

General consensus is that one of them killed themselves about 6 months ago but it's unclear which.
don't you bring that fucking shit onto Sup Forums
Albert Ayler
Donny Hathaway
Would you count someone who went crazy?
Yep, lyricist killed himself about 4 monthes after the album came out
Emerson Lake and Palmer
Damn, thanks for reminding me.
He "disappeared"
add a list to the side of the chart
you can you put my album on in a day or 2
um
*raises paw*
source?
Alice in Chains
>*raises paw*
was it CIA?
It was probably Erratas.
>nirvana
So were including people who were murdered too?
Bill Evans, I believe he called it "The worlds longest suicide" or something like that. He just did alot of coke until he died
damn...
obvious
Fuck!! I didn't see closer. sorry!
Closer is already on there dingo
The album came out somewhere in the 90s. The lead singer commited suicide in 2010.
Released after one of the members killed themselves as a dedication. I think it counts.
yeah if it was released after they committed suicide but they still played on the album it counts.
The Sound - From the Lion's Mouth
I think Adrian Borland committed suicide, sort of interesting considering the frontman of the band who most influenced them (Joy Division) also killed himself.
Borland was more like schizophrenic than depressed, though.
Beat me to it. Pic related is the 2nd one I thought of. Google "the angelic process kris suicide". This group was just a husband-wife duo and was never very popular to begin with, so it kinda stayed under the radar that he killed himself.
forgot the cover
Pic related, forgot to post
>either/or
>implying he committed suicide
dude was fuckin murdered
Storm of the Light's Bane is a better album, but Reinkaos came out right before Nödtveidt killed himself
Probably their most notable album. This was compiled after Dave overdosed on anti depressants on purpose. The guy had a pretty shity life to be honest.
Capital STEEZ - AmeriKKKan Korruption
There is a suicide core already
post it then.
What happens to you physically when you overdose on antidepressants?
and end... - between light and lies
dude killed himself after releasing the album
Kingston Wall
You die super happy
Yeah you should really stop posting you god damn fuckface.
I can't imagine what it's like to be so unlikable. Enjoy dying alone.
nick drake
i want this, how do i keep updated with the finished result without having to lurk Sup Forums every day?
elliot smith
Albert Ayler - Spiritual Unity
Capital Steez - AmeriKKKan Korruption
Gin Blossoms - New Miserable Experience
i dunno, google it.
this is what ive got so far. I'll add the names of the albums on the side when the thread gets archived. Where should I post it then??
Proof ? I know he did it in a really painful way but it happens
4chanmusic.wikia.com
already a mayhem album on there
OK, once the thread is over i'll add all of the albums posted and put the image on the wiki.
Nick Drake isn't a confirmed suicide. He just took a lot of his meds, he could've just as easily thought taking more meds would make sadboyness go away faster.
Dead wasn't on that particular Mayhem album. Live In Leipzig or Dawn Of Black Hearts are better choices from them.
Dude went missing. Not confirmed suicide either.
>Elliott Smith
>committed suicide
Read the autopsy report my friend.
The bassist killed herself iirc
Sorry about the Mayhem album, I changed it to Dawn of the Black Hearts. I don't listen to Mayhem so I didn't know Dead wasn't on that album.
oh FUCK I forgot about "Endless Dismal Moan"
the only member of the band killed himself in 2009
Bored Nothing
Vicious actually wasn't on Never Mind The Bollocks, all of his contributions to the album were overdubbed
also the vocalist from Malvary lived up to his lyrical subject matter and killed himself
It was so weird to find out about Mark Linkous's death after I'd already gotten into his music. RIP
Really? God damn it. What about Sid Sings?
Did they ever get to the end of that? The Erratas thing I mean. It seems like everything just got shut down all of a sudden, and even when it was rather clearly not an ARG, people began to shill that.
>I'll add the names of the albums on the side when the thread gets archived.
Thanks, a lot of people forget to do that
>Where should I post it then??
Just make a new thread
Yeah you could probably replace it with that
Nightmare by Avenged sevenfold, The drummer Jimmy "The Reverend" Sullivan commited suicide before it was officially released, nut after most of the songs were recorded
it was an accidental OD
the sound
I find it very likely Drake killed himself. The last few months he was alive were the worst months of his life.
If you're counting accidental suicide - which you may have to on a chart this size unless you want to get ultra obscure - then may I propose Chicago II? Or really any of their first 3 albums, which are masterpieces.
Although it wasn't until 1978, Terry Kath accidentally shot himself in the head:
"By 1978, Kath was regularly carrying guns around and enjoyed playing with them.[38] Around 5 p.m. January 23, after a party at roadie and band technician Don Johnson's home in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, Kath took an unloaded .38 revolver and put it to his head, pulling the trigger several times on the empty chambers. Johnson had warned Kath several times to be careful. Kath then picked up a semiautomatic 9 mm pistol and, leaning back in a chair, said to Johnson, "Don't worry about it ... look, the clip is not even in it."[34] To satisfy Johnson's concerns, Kath showed the empty magazine to Johnson. Kath then replaced the magazine in the gun, put the gun to his temple and pulled the trigger. However, there was a round in the chamber, and Kath died instantly"
Great guitarist, especially for his time. He was reputedly one of Hendrix's favorite players. Quite underrated. Not so smart with guns...
I remember reading a quote very similar to that. I'm pretty sure those were the retrospective words of somebody else.
Good call.
It's odd, I know that's what the official report is, but I've even heard it called a suicide in an article by a reputable publication.
...
And nothing of value was lost
The Associates - Sulk
Didn't that dude from Lifelover kill himself?
shizuka
>Ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayit'sworldwouldfallapart
Glad the cuck did it
hey its me richey.
I like to think he killed himself because that album was so bad
>In April 1986, Kurt was accused of killing his adoptive mother with a hatchet and scissors while on drugs. He claimed that he thought he was a robot. He wanted to open up his mother to see if she was a robot also. He was charged with second-degree murder and was sentenced to 12 years in prison. He was released early in 1994 and that was when NME's music took a change.
>On March 9th, 2005 Kurt A. Struebing was killed when he was crossing a bridge in Seattle, Washington. His car and about 3 other cars were stopped at a barricade on a swing bridge which was open letting boat traffic go through the Duwamish Waterway. Witnesses report that his car suddenly pulled out of line, burst through the stopped traffic and ran through the barricade falling 60 feet to his death. They are not sure if he was under the influence or suicidal.
>On October 2, 2015, Frankulin gunned down his neighbor, abducted her 8-year-old son, and murdered him too. Shortly after, Frankulin committed suicide by gunshot.
Apparently he was confident in recording a new album from what he producer was saying. He said that he had new material.
Dead's not on DMDS. His only studio tracks are a 2 song single.
Better choice is Live in Leipzig
Probably did it on purpose to trigger people like you
Came here to post this
