The Straight Story

Get at me, plebs.

this is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. it's so heartfelt and genuine and honest.

but it's not really a lynch film and impossible to compare to anything else he's done.

Eraserhead

still waiting for a decent movie from this shitlord, jk, I never expected anything decent from him

Twin Peaks season 1 is the only good thing he's made.

True, but overall, I still feel it's his best. Everything about it is so real and it doesn't leave you.

i agree. i always tear up at the end when alvin reaches his brothers house, it doesn't even show anything after and it doesn't need to. fucking genius.

Blue Velvet is the only correct answer

lost highway

one of the best bittersweet endings in film

But you are absolutely right, user.

Beautiful.

Mulholland Dr.

Inb4 reddit pleb etc.

You have severe shit taste in flicks

>clicked into thread to see if someone suggested mulholland drive
>no one

prbly cuz that film was a mess behind the scenes, lynch did what he could to not make it shit. nonetheless u still get to see naomi watts tits.

Memeholland drive is extremely overrated by super depressed cynical megahipsters trying to get into the film industry because of it's nihilistic message and lesbian scenes.

Honestly surprised more people here haven't expressed it as their favorite.

That point is so alpha, wew lad

blue velvet, lost highway, and my personal favorite Twin peaks Fire walk with me (the story before what happens in the twin peaks tv show pilot)

Its not his best, but I like wild at heart alot

YOU

JUST

KNOW

Just saw that the other day. It was great, and definitely one of the funnier, less cryptic things he's ever done? It's violent and sexual sure, but the tone for most of it is pretty lighthearted. I would say I laughed the most at Wild at Heart of all his stuff.

Never saw any of his movies, with which should I start?

>He's never seen Taxi Driver

Dune

Fire Walk with Me is his best film (in combination with the television series)

One of the best Pleb filters ever created

Is this like Nebraska, but actually good?

>you will never be as alpha as David Lynch

Feels bad man

Pure tractorkino
