Well hello Sup Forums I need help from fags who know how to take care of bearded dragons /an/ was fucking useless and now I've come to you basically I have a baby and he won't eat his veggies

What have you tried feeding him?

I've tried cucumber, lettuce, strawberry's, mango, apple, celery, and cabbage and all with the little worms to catch his eye he'll get close , look, and walk away

feed the crickets he eats with carrots and feed the crickets to him

Crickets

Babies won't eat greens until they're about a year old. I ended up starting a roach colony beforehand because they eat so much

I feed him live insects already and that's all he'll eat but if it's not moving around be won't chase it not even the dead crickets I place in front of him

I had a bearded dragon once. If you pinch the sides of its jaw, the mouth opens and you can put the food inside.

No offense, just trying to instruct you further, but those are almost all shit tier produce items anyways.

Try dandelion greens. Collard greens are great too, but try to be light on the cruciferous vegetables because they're high in goitrogens that can effect thyroid functionality.

Putting mealworms on top of them is a good idea as well, so you're right on that. Mango is a good fruit, but I would personally suggest blackberries. Keep trying different produce. Also, the produce is of less significance when they're young. They develop more omnivorous diets as they grow.

Cactus pads and the fruit are good too

yeah ur right, been a while since i last owned a bearded dragon

Thanks for a second I was about to go back to the store I got him at and tell them they sold me a broken dragon who hates veggies and only likes fighting with himself in the mirror

Start feeding phoenix worms and dubia roaches

I've seen a lot of neck bearded dragons at comic con, and they wouldn't eat their veggies either. They usually don't last too long.

Ask a pet store, or anot her bearded dragon owner. Not Sup Forums. People here will probably try to trick you into poisoningredients it.

I hear baby food works wonders.

Yep this user is pretty much right.
We fed them small grub, sometimes just dried out too so just feed them that, he'll be okay Sup Forumsro

I'm gonna look up the certain ingredients either way just in case
I'm sure feeding it to there through the butt holes would make it even better

The pic its me right now, we sleep together.
Dont listen them faggs.
Tenebrio molitor worms or cockroaches and lettuce or carrot is enough for them.
If its winter where you are maybe it will sleep 2-3 days periods. Also really important the hot. Sry bad english, fuckin drunk

Babies are more carnivorous and as they age they eat more plant matter so he's fine. Just be sure to feed him as many insects as he's willing to eat, and that the insects are properly fed, aka "gut-loaded", and nutritious.

That's shit food anyways. Fruit is a no-no. Feed him the greenest shit that only hipsters know about. Collard greens, mustard leaf, stuff that's like lettuce but not at all. You can find an easy list online.

Since it's still a baby, you can start hand-feeding him crickets so he can start to recognize that what you're holding is food.

Wow, how scientific. You must have really done your research.

Thank you very helpful and finding a hipster don't be hard Oregon is full of them
Thanks as well it's not snowing just cold but I have noticed he like to mainly sleep when I cuddle him or he'll sneak under my blanket and roll into a circle and sleep

Yea, mine works awesome and shits hard turds, so i must be doing it right.

make sure you have a heat lamp and a heated rock. if they are not warm enough, they will not eat
