Imo Darkbloom is currently the sweet spot in her discography from a stylistic point of view. It's got the sonic clarity of Visions but with an aesthetic closer to Halfaxa. As much as I love the aesthetic of her earlier works over her more recent ones (I'm generally not a pop fan) the monumental upgrade in terms of production quality in Art Angels makes it probably my most listened to album in her discography (imo production quality directly applies to repeat listen ability.)

Yes and no. Deathconciousness isn't mastered and it's a great record to replay over and over, while you have Painting With which is one of the most finely produced pieces they've shipped out and I can't do more than one listen a month

Visions is produced very well despite the kinda rough sound. Its production suits the album well.

THIS. Although personally I'm rooting for her retooling it as a symphonic masterpiece for live orchestra/choir/soloists/theremin/whatever in 10-20 years' time. Halfaxa is a rewarding listen. The more time you spend listen to it, the more you could realize how great it is. Behind the lo-fi production there are some amazing songs.

I can only hope she will make another album like Halfaxa but with upgraded production values. Her production skills are very good rigth now.
