this album is legendary and better than every single one on this picture so i find this pic meme bait

Jungle
Classic DnB
Jazz breaks

Okay Chad

>bigbeat
>hardcore
>jungle

Why is trip hop not on this image?

>the term was first used by the British music media to describe the more experimental variant of breakbeat emerging from the Bristol Sound scene in the early 1990s, which contained influences of soul, funk and jazz.[5][6] Deriving from later idioms of acid house,[5] and may incorporate a variety of styles, including funk, dub reggae, soul, psychedelia, R&B, and house, as well as other forms of electronic music.[5]

no space cuz of lolicore

who cares, yay

> list Groove Armada as big beat

lolno

>RYM

Its not their worst, its just not as good as Experience or MftJG

what

RYM is shit, a joke, a rockist clueless shithole of Sup Forumstants, avant-teens and clueless kids.

it's the same kind of discussion as shitstorm about OPN - R+7 vs Garden of Delete. People are divided in to two groups: more agressive music fans and less agressive music fans. It's hard to say which one is better

Lolicore, raggacore, breakcore

RYMers still know more than basic bitch wikipedia intellectuals like turny.

for me it's called 'democracy' and it's fair

>RYM lists breakcore as an IDM subgenre

lmao

>MftJG
sure

>Experience
nope

did you just ignore all of vsnares' idm fusion albums and everything released on planet mu throughought the early 2000's

IDM is a marketing buzzword, he produced experimental breaks

filtered

It is. In fact, for a period there were heads who only meant breakcore when they said idm

...

>experimental
nice marketing buzzword

IDM is a genre, its intelligent electronic music, don't lump patrician music in with EDM trash.

...

IDM was just a label that some artists were using to characterize their work at the time. All of those sounds have distinct names now, including chillstep, breakcore, psychill, lofi breaks, etc

i also post the proof

anything good out from the last few years in any of these styles?

No artists used it and Autechre and Aphex Twin hated it.

single tracks from some albums are cool, but generally this genre died in 90s

Sorry, labels, not artists

>no clownstep

lol

EDM

literally no

Special Request - Soul Music
PZG & Dubsknit - We Rob Rave LP

You really are a special kind of stupid, aren't you? Typical Sup Forumscore drone.

hip-hop

ewww

trap rap specifically. has the hardest hitting drums (harder than anything in the OP) but not in an obnoxious way and it's being done through a pop framework. most rhythmically interesting style of hip-hop as well

ewww

yeeeeeeee :^) post some breakbeat with harder hitting drums than trap rap

Fucking Big Beat autists. Fat of the Land sucks and Groove Armada are as big beat as anything else.

Also, the best breaks genres are objectively hardcore, jungle and classic dnb.

gotta be bait. it's almost like you've never heard the track you posted

youtube.com/watch?v=PlRn5bGF_4o

this fails especially when compared to the way trap rap utilizes bass
