listen to aeroplane over the sea or somethin

little bird flies into a big black cloud is on their u silly goose. i'll check out those other ones though

ignore that part then
i'm sleepy

damn i feel like a shitter
i've only heard like 3 albums each on these charts.
Michigan is pretty weak for Sufjan considering everything that came after it. What do you like about it so much?
anyway I'm gonna rec Don Caballero - What Burns Never Returns since you like Hella. Try some Nujabes too

saw that you are loving the new Phil album on RYM, kinda surprised me. It is fantastic though

forgot chart

Tim Buckley - Happy Sad
Ride - Nowhere

David Kauffman and Eric Caboor - Songs From Suicide Bridge

pretty darn legit chart my man. you already know i'm reccin Thembi, but also Tender Buttons - Broadcast

>albums that were cool for two weeks but then quickly became defined as entry level and lost luster
>rest is shit that'll bore you to tears

Yep, it's a Sup Forums chart thread alright.

>kinda surprised me
i'm into Elverum's stuff
i'm also into music that makes me cry
and boy, did this one devastate me

just feels more emotional and personal than a lot of his later stuff. The instrumentals are also a good mix of the folksier comfiness or his early stuff and the larger stuff he does later

Madvillainy

Gorillaz (self titled)

this is a legit and interesting chart, nice.
i'm not sure what to rec, so i'll just snowball some stuff i've been digging lately.
Mass of Fermenting Dregs - World Is Yours (Japanese Shoegaze)
Gasp - Dome Triler of the Puzzle Zoo People (experimental screamo)
Tim Story - Grass Green (ambient that keeps your attention)

>you're

I only missed the apostrophe you dip, barely something to correct

fuck r8, h8

I come here to look at charts and find music, not to pretend im interested in and commenting on every single one

who the fuck worries about punctuation whilst posting on the internet, on fucking Sup Forums no less
i dont know a lot of it, but you seem to have a great taste. to you i'm shilling Pharaoh Sanders - Thembi like i do, because it's an incredibly underrated jazz great, and also check out Twin Stumps - s/t for NOISY fucking noise rock

>I just listened to the essentials list and assumed I was done

rateyourmusic.com/release/album/аквариум/▼/

Damn. I can tell you don't like it but don't you think shitting on what other people like is a little bit petty? This isn't highschool man, we are free humans who can like whatever we want. There isn't any type of agenda you have to follow on Sup Forums because everyone is anonymous.

if this isn't highschool then why are you still listening to all that embarassing ass shit

nukem

good chart makes me want to fuck
Alice Coltrane - Turiya Sings

you've probably heard most of this but:
C.O.T.A. - ta'wil
v/a - arrhythmia I-III
psychonaut - pylon of daath
the later projects of aporea/apokrifna realnost members: lola v stain, anastasia, mizar, Elena Hristova & Goran Trajkoski
mother destruction - ascending the spiral groove
memorandum - ars meritori

Kanye West - Yeezus

ambarchi / o'malley / dunn - shade themes from kairos

First time posting my chart, rate what you see, recommend what you know.

sieben - ogham inside the night
tarantella - esqueletos
sinoia caves - beyond the black rainbow
rose kemp - unholy majesty
on - conference of the birds
beastwars - blood becomes fire

Gentle Giant - Octopus

Tiers are kinda fast and loose.

Sheez, I gotta start listening to more music. Was a struggle to fill this out.

Help me out Sup Forums. I'm new to this board and just became aware of how musically dense I am. Please give me some good recommendations based on my current top 25

o'death - outside
brown bird - salt for salt

...

good progression of how to get the most out of music:

1) go find the mucore chart, the major one with all the hip-hop and metal and electronic sections and so on, listen to everything on it (read the sticky if you haven't already)

2) have your mind blown a bit by some things on there, reformulate your taste and make a new chart. come back to chart threads and get recommendations

3) branch out and find the good music writers & journalists and so on, listen to their favourite music, reformulate again

4) read about music theory, music philosophy, come to terms with the state of music in the world, read walter benjamin, go back and listen to everything again

this can take many years but then you will enjoy the shit out of music and you will not be such a pleb fuck

thanks man. I'm always looking for an escape from pleb fuckery

like everyone else on this board

t-they don't move

Try some Homeshake
Pinata by Freddie Gibbs and Madlib might be decent based on Madvillainy

my personal favorites

Catch my fade brahs

...

What is the name of this album?

...

Any tips on finding music journalists who's tastes coincide with my own?

just got back from the discomfort - we're alright
