is there anything more like the goslings for hella noisy but still grounded in rock (rather than something like yellow swans which has more proper noise influence)?

the Japanese psychedlic rock scene, but you probably knew

...

The Angelic Process maybe? It's not as noisy as the Goslings but it's incredibly dense and heavy while still maintaining some semblance of rock structure

content lol

anyone got any recs for some stuff that's super noisy or even outright noise but in a shoegaze style?
something along the lines of Yellow Swans or I Am a Lake of Burning Orchids

The Gerogerigegege off their new album released last year.
youtu.be/mZGNTx6SrrE

oh shit this is awesome, is the whole album like this?

The rest is actually some really dark ambient. Really nice imo, I just listened to it for the first time today coincidentally
not btw

no, the rest is dark ambient
it's still a good listen

He is so cute and sexy.

unfortunately not, still would recommend it though. they're cheeky and like to make accessible music every once in a while.

try broadcast

i did, Tender Buttons is pretty good

Total pleb here looking for some recs.

I recently got into some Beach House (enjoying all of their albums really, the song Myth has been stuck in my head) and Toro Y Moi (check out June 2009 by him if you haven't), and I'm not sure where to go to find more. Anyone have any good recs from here? I've tried Loveless a few times, but it never really clicked. If possible looking for more stuff like the opening track on June 2009

Drive like jehu?

keep trying loveless

You have listen to their other two albums too.
I think listening to their evolution makes you like their style more.

Pretty shoegazey atmospheric black metal

Swirlies

LRD desu

Ben Frost technically falls under electroindustrial but he uses guitars/hardware and his noise sound is similar to Yellow Swans.
On phone so can't post link but check out "Nolan" from his album Aurora.

Ben Frost is GOAT

any recommendations?

I'd like to hear more stuff like amesoeurs?
in b4 peste noire

seconding this, noisy shoegaze is the future. any recs?

Have you listend to Flying Saucer Attack's ST?

Alcest?

of course. I mean stuff like Yellow Swans or Goslings that is literal noise but with a sense of melody and 'gaze

heard em

i don't know of similar stuff with female vocals but the closest one can think of is this (it's instrumental tho):

reptilianchild.bandcamp.com/album/in-tempore-angelis-2015-16

It is shameless self-promotion, but I kinda think I got what you mentioned there, but also kinda black metal. I Am A Lake of Burning Orchids was a huge influence, along with Vegas Martyrs.

Have you listened to ceres & calypso? Real Estate?

melt-banana my nig! Charlie is my fave

I like that bandcamp you linked

check out Alvvays
youtube.com/watch?v=QqV-_7Ms92o
also check out Cocteau Twins (Heaven or Las Vegas in particular) to see where Beach House got their sound

Les Rallizes Denudes! Pre-Velvet Underground noise-rock. Good shit, my brother.

youtube.com/watch?v=xoYVEQeJ4WQ

>Pre-Velvet Underground noise-rock.
no

Mizutani's main influence was Sister Ray.

my b, either way check it out.

definitely

Seriously, Aurora is one of my favorite albums of the decade so far. The sound construction is just incredible.

Acid Eater

hot stuff

Is this shugazi or is it more psych?

Loveless is worthless trash.

Go easy on Rallizes. The first I heard them, I barely listened to any other music for months.

blasphemy

I dont know it makes me feel kinda good.

youtube.com/watch?v=u_ZX-N9ZzUg

Anyone fancy listening to these? It's the introductionary bars of two blackgaze songs. should I carry on?

it's better than the last thing i posted here honest.

clyp.it/fbqefsxx

I had a beer with Maki last year. He said he saw me playing live and liked my drumming (i know, nice blogpost, user)

>tfw no album full of songs like this

been listening to this album recently. It is some good shit

>Mizutani
please excuse yourself

youtube.com/watch?v=Ys7zMBTZSn0

Can someone make an image where Mizutani is surfing Sup Forums and shitting on shoegaze?

I've barely listened to blackgaze in general, but it sounds pretty good to me.

see and
see youtube.com/watch?v=BGIku3bflBw

this needs a follow up asap

excuse yourself from this webzone tyvm

yeah, it's really good. I especially like the production.

japanese shoegaze at its finest desu.

Pretty good stuff, you've got the wall of sound thing going nicely there. I'd be interested to hear the completed tracks

>clyp.it/fbqefsxx
The drumming is kinda boring but the guitars sound good.

bump

Sick (the latter)

tamagotoji.bandcamp.com/album/underwater

WOw hype lads

seance

I'm excited but know I'll be disappointed. I feel like it's going to be less noisy which is what they're good at.

Try Heretoir, their self-titled and the new one that recently came out
generic blackgaze, but done really well

This one?

I just can't get excited for it. The only revival I'm genuinely hype for is Slowdive.

Anyone else like to check the Bandcamp shoegaze tag every couple of days? Found this interesting EP today

Any other dream pop depression core?

Another Slowdive song coming soon, sounds like it'll be beautiful

I hope this means they're incorporating the Pygmalion sound in a track or two
