>would you like to live...deliciously?!?!?!?!
How can anyone like this anti climactic trash?
>would you like to live...deliciously?!?!?!?!
How can anyone like this anti climactic trash?
>anti climactic
that final sequence was some of the most riveting minutes of cinéma in recent years
>not living deliciously
OP confirmed for godly puritan trash
Would you have preferred a final ebin battle, like that time captian america and gang went to defeat loki? That was so cash amirite dude.
what do i have to give the devil so that thomasin will sit on my face?
...
naught but thine mortal soul and an ample offering of virgin's blood
then thou mayest do with the fair maiden whatever thy loins desire
>ywn live deliciously with her
Why even live Sup Forums
I would have perfered that borderline retard thomaSIN got killed, lad. but instead some pirate helped her write her name lmao
I thought the ending was really good. Thinking now i would not have it end any other way.
Most horror movies have these show downs or blood baths at the end but for this movie that last 10 minutes or so really fit.
Also pic is for you op.
OP sounds like a faggot who wouldn't even make love to his qt Thomasin sister
That would mean no closure at all. Her joining the coven is like an origin story. Something similar probably happened to the witch who took Samuel, and vvitchfu Thomasin will probably put some other girl through the same in the future. Her living at the end gives the audience something to think about. Killing her would destroy any reason to discuss the film years from now and it would fade into obscurity in less than a decade like so many horror films do.
The writers know what they're doing. Go back to watching Paranormal Activity if you only care about film for the couple hours you're watching it, pleb.
her joining the witches is actually lazy boring writing. They just wanted to do something edgy. You're literally an idiot if you think it was a good ending.
He wasn't a pirate you fucking pleb
Thomasin became the thing that everyone was accusing of being in order to survive.
I think it's an appropriate ending.
You would think that because you're an idiot.
>not liking goats
nigga wtf you want her to take revenge on the town?
Why didn't they get there asses beat? That time period was rife with ass beatings.
It's a cycle. I just spelled it out. An edgy unexpected ending would be her going back into society and killing people or something.
The ending, like I said, turns the film into a sort of origin story that, when reflected on, creates sympathy for the witch that terrorizes the family. Thomasin was the purest of the family and when they were disturbed by evil and refused to acknowledge it, they became the evil ones. Think of it like the "First they came..." poem about the holocaust (assuming you actually went to school and learned it). The film's message is that without trust in our fellow man and an ability to clearly look at problems before trying to solve them together, we will kill ourselves. Leaving Thomasin alive allows that failure to be perpetuated in the next family that comes across a witch and we can't really blame her for it.
You're literally an idiot if you think a film's message can only contain what is explicitly shown onscreen.
i dunno man its a horror movie what do you want catharsis you fucking moron? Thats not how it works, its supposed to disturb you. apparently it did but now youre just mad because its not what you wanted but get used to itcuz youre opinions are garbage you uncreative fuck
>anti climactic trash?
you made it to the end? I fell asleep about half way through
>apparently it did
It actually didn't. I thought it was silly and hackneyed. I'm sorry you think light horror is disturbing.
