I like their progressive approach and being shaken out of my comfort zone -- like, there are moments in songs that will make me sit up and go 'whoa' -- but the overall product doesn't really stay with me. I haven't managed to listen to the whole thing in one sitting.

Sorry, the only glam I ever found was decent enough was some of Pantera's older work, though that was at the time I thought of Slayer as the best band ever. Do you have some rifftastic glam bands, if that exists? I'm a riffs guy and can endure heaps of shit if it means I get to enjoy good riffs.
