Besides the "Jason is now afraid of water because we had to give him some kind of weakness" bullshit, Freddy vs. Jason is pretty faithful to both characters and is a ton of fun. Jason Goes to Hell wasn't supposed to be a Friday the 13th movie and you can tell. Jason being a little demon that can possess people is a load of nonsense that shits all over the rest of the series.
