Sup Sup Forums fags, what's the best GTA story mode wise, not live, Internet says 4 but I think San Andreas, what do you think?

San andreas by far (In my opinion) had the best story out of all of them.

I like GTA2 bird eye for PS1, grinding the Russians into hot dogs and feeding to own gang sold me.

I loved GTA 4's atmosphere and San Andreas' story.

I just liked mashing the circle button to burp and fart for no goddamn reason

san andreas cheery color palette and atmosphere was very uplifting and i enjoyed the gambling

i'd say gta sa, played that game for 11 years on ps2,(poorfag) couldnt afford a ps3
great story

San andreas is the Internet services favorite but it's mostly because of a good old pair of rose tinted glasses. I find myself much preferring gta iv. It's the first fully realised atmosphere.

I don't think anything I just ask Sup Forums

fuck how i miss the casinos. total bs they wernt in V

I'm right there on the line between 4 and San Andreas. I still cant pick, they both good as hell

you know what else is bs? they have a fucking horsetrack without horse races. huge missed oppurtunity.

Kek when no faggot even mentions Vice City, easily the best story.

GTA III probably. It sticks to one good story. I can't judge Vice City because I only ever played it as a kid.
San Andreas veers off into random ventures in San Fierro and Las Venturas and they don't stick to the core of the story.
GTA 4 is just boring as shit and GTA 5 is ok. Cut scenes play a huge part in a successful story mode and 4 and 5 just don't cut it.

nah, I liked the set of jumps tho... from start point to the airport there were so many. just needed a better AI

If you were a kid in the 80's and watched Miami vice, Vice City hands down.

The only good part of the story mode in gta 5 was the Trevor missions. The rest was just lame

>e
i know...fuck r*

GTA III hasn't stranded the test of time. The story was mediocre at best and people where only impressed with it at the time of release because it was a 3D open world.

loved san andreas the best

people that say GTA 4 are just baby boomers semen so they have the population advantage.

Thing is, since you can buy online money they couldn't include gambling. It would count as online gambling and that's illegal

then why does the game have a stock market?

I beat GTA 4 for the fifth time.
Ending always gets me.

Or they could be the people that where old enough to understand the themes and humor of the game when they initially played it.

San Andreas was enjoyable but a bunch of disjointed bullcrap, 4 was garbage, 5 was a bunch of less disjointed bullcrap; none of them were good stories.

I always kill malory. As annoying as roman is I can't let him die. He makes me chuckle.

it wasn't mallorie, it was kate
ya fuck

4

I really liked Vice City's story
reminded me of watching Magnum P.I. as a kid

Nah man.
Get betrayed in the middle of a high stakes job by your love interest and left for dead. Police convoy gets intercepted and you break free to become a fugitive. You climb up the food chain of the underworld dishing out some betrayal of your own. The story ends with a bloody massacre, the final play is getting revenge on the one who set the whole story in motion.
That's a Hollywood blockbuster right there.

I've never beat 4 ruining it for me please , roman is bad?

No. He's just a fucking annoying cunt.

do you even have a clue how old baby boomers are, fuck face?

Whoops I forgot. My niko dated everyone on the website.

Lol baby boomers, weak bait faggot

If you're talking about the story most like a Hollywood blockbuster then Vice City would be the best it's literally Scarface.

It was a game, not a website
ya fuck

Gay cunt is a gay cunt

San Andreas has a very fantastic storyline, if you want something that feels real, go for GTA IV, it really shows how is the life of an paid mercenary actually is

There's a dating website within the game.

samefag being this mad

This. It made me give a shit about a Serbian.

My top pick would have to be Vice City followed closely by San Andreas. I always loved the gang shit in those games. Seeing the gang that I did missions to create and grow on the street gunning down opposing gang members always brought a smile to my face. Like watching something that you raised grow up.

Did I say most like a Hollywood blockbuster? Did you die at the end? Did your sister die? Did you kill a man in a refugee camp to gain access to Vice City?
Did you work in a tuck shop? Did you buy a tiger? Do you know what literally means?
I will literally slap your shit.

spotted the baby boomer grandparent descendant.

Are those rhetorical?

Spotted the same fag. Get em mah.

Yeah, after finishing the game a cannot play it in the same way, it really makes you sad in a way

he's losing it

god I fucking hated Roman
>travel across the map to start a mission
>almost there
>ring-ring
>Niko, it is your cousin! Let's do some stupid pointless shit! Pick me up on the furthest point from where you are now in 1 minute.

SA is my personal fav
but the gta 4 is just perfect for a movie, definetly the best story mode, not the best game at all th

>Not screening Romans calls

The cut scenes were so boring. That's one of the best parts of story mode.

Theres a theory that says that the three main characters in gta 5 represent all the other gta games

>Trevor
Trevor represents the older games and how they had alot of killing sprees and rampages

>Franklin
Franklin represents the gta games that are in the middle of everything so like gta 3, San Andreas, and vice city
Because you start off as a low level civilian and working your way up the social chain as the said game's main characters, just like Franklin

>Michael
Michael represents the newer gtas such as gta 4 and 5 because 4 and 5 are developed around a story as if it were a movie just like Micheal life is like one big blockbuster. (This might be why Micheal likes movies so much)

Thats all just a theory though do idk what do you guys think

Yeah, but he's your cousin.
So you love him.

>gta v is inspired by gta v
>micheal
>plot holes

Liberty City Stories
>Salvatore's origin within thr GTA universe
>Donald Love's twisted endeavors
>What GTA III was intended to be

I would call III and Liberty City Stories the best story modes.
I haven't run through Vice City or Vice City Stories but they look fun and I like the 80s vibe.
