This was fucking shit

How does that contradict being essential modern warkino?

Jarhead trilogy

>he can't appreciate true kino

Condolences.

>Literal remake with c grade wash ups

At least change the color theme and tracers from Ridleys essesntail blawkino

>trilogy

When will this stupid trigger discipline shit end? It looks so forced everytime I see it. You can't tell me pic related doesnt look way better

Your trolling has triggered me.
I require an apology.

generation is the only good war related thing that has come out in the past 10+ years

>doesn't like guerrehouse cinéma

Don't overdose on this kino user

...

>movie about a bunch of marines who do fuck all
>use the name to create shitty shootfests nobody cares about

What a fucking travesty.

...

>Literal remake

jesus

wait a sec are that Jim and Roy?
will i be able to take that movie seriously?

is Restrepo kino?

>Jarhead 1
>nobody has hair
>Jarhead trilogy
>everybody has hair

why bother?

its beyond kino.

it's real life

I didn't even think about their characters from The Office when I was watching it so that says something about the guys playing them and how Bay used them.

i really enjoyed the part where the Muslims died

7 hours of warkino

Navykino

Modern as in a recently made film or a film depicting modern warfare. Also, define modern.

it was pretty good. libshits just didn't like it because it reminds them of how shit hillary clinton is.

Comfy as fuck. I kinda like that they don't really do anything significant. Makes it feel more real.

But seriously they nailed the road trip feel. Stay frosty.

Holy shit I didn't notice.

Dark humor, best humor.

Is Black Hawk Down kino?

Wouldn't call it kino, but Strike Back is definitely one of the best comfy operator shows.

>heavily modded AK just for the sake of it

I liked this, I need to power past season 5. iirc season 3 was the best.

Seeing Jarhead was when I realized that Jake is the best actor of 21st century Hollywood

He has NEVER pulled in a bad performance and for the most part avoids blockbuster garbage like the plague

This is the best miniseries of all time
I'll actually watch it again today

I've always passed up on Jarhead, I'll give it a shot today.

It's not the finest film, but it's pretty good and Sam Mendez is always a cinematography pornographer. The main draw is Jake, he pulls in an incredible performance

>cinematography

Good enough for me, one of my favorite things. I thought it was great in Sicario and part of what made it.

>kills a Muslim
>he looks at the camera and makes the Jim face

Who are you quoting?

Jarhead doesn't even have any action in it.
It's just Gyllenhaal being hyped about the war, seeing none of it and then realizing how fucked he got by the government and society.

10/10
The show producers didn't give a single fuck about anyone's opinion.

Literally no action, which is a MUST in warkino.
Trash tier series desu. Band of Brothers was better.

Looks like a shill movie for Magpul

If you haven't seen 24 and consider yourself American, I have bad news for you.

How hard do you think Jenna Fischer sprayed her orgasm? Hard enough to break the screen? The wall?

ahead of its time

> no action
Except their is you dumbfuck. It just isn't Rambo tier over the top heroics. Band of Brothers is good, but it portrays an entirely different type of war.

>no action
>night fight for that bridge
>when they pass through that town and get fucking lit up

the very small amounts of action in this series has more tension than all the Hollywood war films released in the last 30 years combined
the night-time ambush the scariest fucking shit
>that moment when Ray gets out and starts shouting and you just know his head could get blown off any second

I'm not american
This is not america

I tried to watch it twice, but it's fucking awful.

>people on this sub are so pathetic that they will rewatch a 7 hour program just because they were reminded it existed

Must be a sad life when your only hobby is to sit on your ass and watch low grade TV all day.

>sub

Belcheck was a fucking bro. I kinda wanted to see his shenanigans with Jack in Serbia.

>le shoot brown people knees
>drunk keefer shouts "WHERES DA BOMB ACHMED?"

...

t. reddit

i bet you hate pain&gain too

And you have a problem with this how?

it's actually pretty good
it shows noble loss, which is damn rare

Oh boy it's summer, all the edgy highschool kids are here

whats your favorite film

some of the best gunplay I've seen in high-budget films.

>high school kids
>24 first aired in 2001

Muhammad pls go

>modern
might be strecthing it a bit, but 9th company

worth the watch only for the fact there are not too many movies about soviet-afghan war made but it's a legit good film too

>mercenaries who mostly shot civilians and drugged children soldiers for money
>le heroes saving democracy xD

Bay needs to learn what subtle means and stop forcing his retarded political agenda. Let this to people with actual brain.

Most of the actual operating is contained in the last 30 minutes, but the hunt stuff is exciting as well.

don't you have e-mails to delete, shillary?

The first one was good - I have no idea how much crack they must have smoked to make the other two.

Why is this allowed? Seriously?

The beginning of the last half hour of ZDT wins over all possible mentions in this thread which I haven't read yet.

The bro shit almost out of Generation Kill, the preparation and the trip. Nothing like it was ever made.

>you'll never listen to tony robbins on your ipod in a comfy-lit scary trip surrounded by full darkness of Pakistan's mountains

Love the part where Chastain looks towards the helicopter, realizing that it's out of her hands now and the guys are going into the wolf den. Great buildup.

The site was started by an American, the servers are in America, and there's mostly American posters. Try again.

yeah you almost forgive a lot of the long slog bullshit for that moment. It's a complete contrast and it feels super real for going "yeah this is not our hero's field, this is really something else entirely".

Then you see the shot of the choppers over the grey dark hills without one glimmer of light and your whole body goes "shit this is it"

It's fucking amazing

>low-grade
>Cant ever enjoy anything anyone reminds you of. So if I mention now you'll literally die from starvation lmao

how does it feel to be a complete and utter pleb? do you feel special because disney makes movies especially for people with your shit-tier of taste?

It's a line in 24 said by a Serbian dude when the POTUS gives him an order. Try again.

0 dark 30

The book was terrific - did the show match up with the book much? It actually had a lot of action - sounds like less so in the show.

>he will literally sit down for 7 hours to watch a show he's already seen just because someone mentioned it

Loser

I'm watching Strike Back now and it's absolute garbage tier

Does it get better from Series 1 because this is all highly unrealistic soap opera tier ballwash

At least she provides movie content

>He will literally starve to death because food is so relatable

Enjoy your slow painful death

>Does it get better from Series 1
Season 2 and onward is very different, it's the same show in name only really. Can't say whether you'd enjoy it or not but i'd give it a watch.

>Rudy could've gotten his head blown off if he didn't tried to grab something near the gas pedal

he had good karma, the fruity motherfucker

I LOVE YOU FRUITY RUDY

SLAY THAT DRAGON

...

I bet that commerial really got a lot of guys

propaganda tier

this is a war film

>Literally no action, which is a MUST in warkino.

So it's almost like being really deployed?

No shit dummy. It took place during the early phase of the Iraq War. The fact that the war wasn't heroic or particularly intense during that time was a major theme.

kek. I was half expecting Chris Costa to show up and shill angled foregrips.

Its not a movie about patriotic manly hetero americans destroying freedom hating muslim terrorists.

This isn't any kind of kino

PO-LICE THAT MOOSTACHE

This movie is the most realistic portrayal of being in the military.
