What was his fucking problem?

but really though, why did he kill Kennedy? is it something explained in the books but not in the movie, or am I just a retard who missed it?

The why doesnt really matter, just the fact that he was a government agent willing to do it.

He worked for the government. The government (probably Nixon) ordered him to do it.

In the comic there's only a vague hint that he killed JFK, and that was because he basically did whatever he was told.

Zack Snyder doesn't know how to into subtlety

so i'm guessing you also think Oswald was just some ordinary citizen and not a hired gun by the government

>Zack Snyder doesn't know how to into subtlety

That sequence was beautiful. His fall from grace from the comfy Minute Men in the montage. In it's way it was a subtle way to show the act itself. Would you have rather another character have to spell it out w/ expository?

Don't get me wrong, I loved the opening scene, it was great, but that specific JFK part just didn't need to be shown.

I enjoyed it

Maybe that's why you ended up on Sup Forums

Nixon was working in private practice in '63. If anything it was the CIA working with Bell Helicopter to sell Hueys.

I guess it didn't NEED to be shown, but I think it added more than it detracted.

>retard who missed it

Don't go looking for deeper meaning in a Zack Snyder film, you'll go insane.

he was a neo-con before neo-cons were a thing

also he was obsessed with war. the comics explain what his character does better.

Oswald did kill Kennedy though

It was a communist named Oswald, you dumb goy.

Liberals can't accept that communism is evil, dude. Hence the conspiracy theories.

>Oswald
>one gunman
>hitting a moving target from the 23rd floor with a rifle built in the 1950's

UM......

he didn't kill kennedy.

Yeah no way that would be possible to do :^)

It was a Carcano Rifle. They weren't being made anymore by the 1950's. They were built from 1892 to 1945. Though to be fair, Carcanos are regarded for their accuracy.

Kennedy had to be killed because he was a communist sympathizer.

Yeah, but he stuck by the socialist thing pretty well.

Lotta loyalty for a hired gun.

how is the fact that he is high up even a negative factor? that would probably have just made the shot that much easier to pull of.

What, you think snipers are a recent phenomenon?

he was a muhriiine

>no such thing as shot of the gods in real life

guy was prob taking pot shots and was like OH SHIT when he was actually right on target

>carcano
>built in the 50's
>not accurate
>not the best thing to come out of Italy besides their food and loud, thick catholic women

He didn't kill JFK though, read Before Watchmen it's canon

I thought it was because of the March on Washington and HUAC and Blacklist, no?

>a rifle built in the 1950's

You know even muskets built in the late 1800s were accurate up to 400 yards, right?
