They're nutjob vampire hunters but at least seem to be humane ones so I guess they don't believe in collateral damage, also bombing the plane isn't a guarantee of killing him like maybe a stake through the heart would as seen that he survived a mile drop.
They're completely new to the show and weren't part of the comic, he brings them up intermittently through other episodes as being somehow able to track him and confuses two angels as part of the same group
i thought the scene was amazing, only question I have is why the hell didnt cass wait until the thing dropped altitude before jumping... i mean 30,000 feet is a bit much he could have waited a little lol

I have not read the comics but ive heard they travel alot.
I think they're spending at least the whole first season there. In the comics they hit the road almost immediately.
I figure the finale will have Quincannon and probably the whole town get fucking leveled due to a giant sinkhole or some other 'act of God' , Jesse will set out after God to kick his with Cass, Tulip and Arseface in tow, then finish with a stinger of Herr Starr's full reveal.

She was arguably one of the worst characters on Marvel AOS eating up screen time. Her character ended up being pointless and left for the making of this one. When I heard the casting news I was like great (sarcasm).

I enjoyed the comics a long time ago so I was looking forward to this, got half way through the first episode and they made Tulip, a blonde Caucasian character, a black. Immediately dropped it, didn't even watch the next episode.

Maybe a bit too on the nose, but I loved how in the story the dad is a gun-toting macho who is expecting a boy he'll raise to be a badass and literally laughs at the idea that he could end up with a baby girl.
Then he gets the news that the baby is a girl and his wife died giving birth. And when he reluctantly looks at his daughter for the first time he's like "well, maybe it won't be too bad." Very heartwarming.
