I want this, but don't want to deal with a floyd rose

It's p good, the tuners are...interesting.

What do you think is better for most bass players high action or low action
>also trying by a cheap bass what brand do you guys recommend? $200 budget

200 is pretty low mayne, try to find a used squire, not affinity though. I personally like reallylow action, like right above to wear the fret buzz happens. Easier to move around that way.

Just bought this a little while ago couldn't be happier with it

Thanks user, and maybe I will wait and save up a bit.

Main rig for psych rock project, trying to get cool sounds out of a two amp set up, lots of treble through the fender and bass and mid through the bass amp.

Gretsch g6118t (EADGBe)
Gretsch g5135 (CGCFAD)
Fender hotrod with Jensen green p12
Ashdown little bastard 30

DD-3
TS-808
Redwitch Fuzz God II

Girlfriend got me an Epiphone Dot Studio for Christmas, not actually played in 5 years but was certainly thankful for it. I wanted that model all those years ago to play more folky songs. Before that I just had a Stagg Warlock thing

itd be good. I'd recommend one of these two if you like fender (squire) both are absolutely amazing quality.

Any pics of it?

Thanks man,

g5135 - $515USD
Hotrod - $1200AUD
Ashdown head and cab - $1050AUD

my SG Jnr, built by a customshop here in NZ

she's a beauty, how did she set you back?

been working on it for a while, chucked the EMG and got a custom Bareknuckle Nailbomb

Nice, play any gigs yet?
Nice looks super minimalistic. I dig it.

Here you go fam

about $1600. paintwork was incredibly poor but custom built neck and body, not Allparts etcx. the core is solid Mahogany and brutal as fuck. Ash Customs in Auck built it.

Waiting for my Schecter stiletto custom 5 to arrive, pretty hyped for it

Works pretty well for me. Easy as to tune but can only tune it in standard tuning really

I once had 2 Jackson roads. One white and gold and the other was black and white, an Ibanez 8 sting and a Jackson 7 with a 5150 head and a Randall cab but I ran into some money problems so now all I have left is a random guitar from the 60s

Dis my shit

My main rig. Stingray 5 HH, SVT pro 3, 6x10.

Also a p bass into a bassman.

Have you tried different gauge tuning? it'd help if you want to go to different tuning for things like blues or anything like that.

...

is it a good guitar at least? Some vintage guitars are nice, sadly a lot kinda blow.

And my acoustic :D

A beaut.

What strings do you use?

Goddamn, nice dude

It likes to buy on anything past the 13th fret. It's a bit warped from being in storage for so long but at least I can rehydrate it, I'm just lazy. It pretty much looks like a Gibson hummingbird. I'll post pics of you want

Buzz, excuse me. A bit high

Who?

Yeah post em. What guitar are you aiming to get, if you can get one anytime soon.

Also I'm looking at buying a pic related, Schecter diamond P plus, can anyone recommend or talk me out of it?

Fender MIA Jazz Bass
Fender MIM P-Bass

Shit nothing in the foreseeable future but if I could have something right now, I'd get a dimebag Washburn. No ideal model names bit would love to have one. Pics coming soon, hanging out with people

Not with that set up, we're all to busy to jam any more with that band. I use all the gear, plus some other gear in other bands regularly. One just acoustic + electric cover band in pub corner, the other a hip-hip/indie rock kinda deal.

Hip-hop*

Save a bit longer and find a used stingray imo. Won't be quite as thumpy with the p pups but you can throw on flats if needed and rays sit well in every mix.

Still, it is a

Nah like i said im so new to it. Should i buy a different tuner?

Looks like it would sound sweet as fuck

The tuners should be fine imo. Just try out different tunings then E. E is great and my favorite but a lot are good. Also fun to create your own tuning.

Why are Les Pauls always so fuckin heavy?

Some aren't chambered

I have an edge10 2012 metallicred model bass and a fender amp
I have no idea what I'm doing as a metal bassist and am taking up music theory and learning slap bass because Seinfeld and other memes

yo what kind of shit do I need for my bass to make more of a tool/ psychedelic type of sound

That one video of that really hot blonde girl doing a sienfield theme cover always makes me chuckle.

don't know yet lol, it's not finished. but yeah, i have an old Laney GH100, bit too much but it'll crush till i can get something alot smaller.

fuzz pedal, eq pedal, compreser, prob a tube amp.

Here's the bassists of tool's equipboard, it'll tell everything he uses.

Also a wah probably wouldn't hurt. also check'd

Here's a video I recorded yesterday of me playing guitar.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=vKsioYo9bRg

I might look into that. Ill youtube that shit

forsure, look into buying a vintage acoustic too, but be ready the price on them is usually insane.

Do they sound a lot nicer?

Sometimes, they sound...idk how to say it. Fuller?
