How does someone appear missing? Surely if you're missing then you can't appear, and if you appear you're no longer missing.

Yes, but for an object to appear it would need to be there. If there's a gap where that object is, the object itself has still disappeared. The gap that has appeared is not the same as the object itself, so therefore an object cannot appear and be missing at the same time.

Seeing this thread again after so long is painful. Alot of underhanded stuff happened to me in /waifu/ threads a long time ago, possibly before any of the newer users time. It's not the trauma of these threads that caused me to take a long long break from Sup Forums, but after returning to from the break I realise it was the main reason I NEEDED the break.

Look at me now, no grill comes to mind when I think about a waifu to claim, I don't have any images even if I could stake a claim. You see it all started when my waifu was stolen. I'm not gonna name her, sounds are still fresh, even after all this time. But that's not really the problem, the problem is how my friends that I had being chatting with, discussing waifus with, playing games with, getting to know (at least I thought I was), turned on me and called me a fake. Me who had devoted hours over the course of years to /waifu/ was branded a fake because some newfags decided that Saber would be theirs and that their was no room for sharing. I was smeared, I was shamed.

I grew tired, I turned my back on Saber, I turned my back on /waifu/ and I turned my back on Sup Forums, but now I'm back I guess. So... Hi.
