Come on. The reason communism fails everywhere it is implemented is because their view on humans is so fucking outdated and optimistic.

Marx believed that humans were born as tabula rasa and society is what forms them. This is why marxist are so determined to even things out.

Marx forgot that some people will always try to rise above your average people, these are the ones that work hard to reach their goals and they are the ones that end up getting successfull. They believed that with freedom everyone would live in what they percieved as the goal of their life. The founding fathers of the US doesnt have a really optimistic view of humans though, there is a reason the US is a republic.
My point about the jealousy thing is that they removed the ones that had the will to actually go ahead and create shit. The reason they had a famine was because they killed the ones that actually knew how to farm productively.
Capitalism works (depends on how you define work) when you ahve a little government that cant give people a monopoly.
In the long run you would end up with a ruling class though, since many of them would most likely own most of the land.
