Imo, when you go for chillness, you want some dynamics in your sound. Let the volumes breathe a bit so you can play with that shit because some of your sounds/notes are just too loud. You create a great atmosphere though.

It's like Ambient IDM or something. Percussion is too silent as opposed to the synth for me, it should just be a tad higher. But then again, I'm very bad at judging how sound from earphones translate to speakers so don't mind that too much. Maybe try to lower the synth a bit and see what that gives. Song is ok, a little bit too repetitive for me.

I like the atmosphere alot here. This is a little more like industrial techno, but I still wouldn't call it techno. Perhaps it could pass for experimental techno. You need to have a little more going on in your progression, I don't feel like there's a true climactic thing going on, while what you have created kind of sets that expectation. It feels unfinished. But it's strong potential to be something great for sure!

I have a question about making ambient. As I've dabbled in it myself, but haven't really done the whole drawn out layered pads thing. Is it alot of work to create a sequence of 1 minute in a track that lasts 10? I just don't have any insight on howmuch work a track like this takes to make.

Production is topppppppppp notch. Especially vocals and fx on them. Perhaps, I'd lower the vocals just a pinch. Like 1 or 2%, they stand out a little too much for me, while the beat is too on the background for me. It seems like that swag guitar and bass and chimes(?) should get a little more spotlight.

If you're going to strecth a 1 minute sequence out to 10 you just have to make sure that the sound develops en moves, is has to stay interesting to listen to. And it takes some time programming all the different synths and sounds. And the whole way of producing is going to make a big difference. Using tape loops and streched samples compared to designing every single sound
