She randomly goes cold and just vanishes. This was almost 24hrs ago now and she hasnt even read my msg.

The day before this she was saying how great i was and that she wants to be my gf, and even if she isn't that I should consider her as mine already.

Oh and she's a emo girl..
She has issues although I'm not sure what exactly besides being sad and low self esteem and self harm occasionally. I never dealt with a girl like this.

Your approach is wrong OP. You need to stop giving he the time of day; act uninterested in her after giving her a bit of attention. Message her back and forth a few times with messages that you'd send to someone that you don't really care talking to.

example:
her: hey what's up?
you: sup nm. You?
her: Same! Just got my nails done today.
you: nice nice
her: Yep! They're pink and look super great.

that is where you stop responding for a bit. You can leave it for a few hours or for a day, but the point is to come off as uninterested. When you show that you're not interested or or have lost some interest then there is only one direction the girl can towards to: why? She will assume it is because of a flaw of hers (she is boring or not attractive enough, etc.) or that you think your life is better with some other girl or worse: better simply without her. This in turn will make her want to get your attention, especially because your attention will have been scarce so when she does get it she will feel special/good. From there you can go about it how you will (I usually just hookup with the girl or get a blow job and then bail). You can try to date her, but maintain your level of interest (or rather lack thereof). Another way of looking at it is that no girl WANTS to settle for a guy; the girl wants the guy to be settling. Why? Because if she feels like she is settling (which she will if she feels like you are easy to get) then it will come off as a downgrade to her in status (no girl wants to be the hot one in the relationship; she'd rather girls be jealous of her boyfriend than his guy friends being jealous of her). So the solution is obviously to come off as you being an upgrade to her current status.
