What songs really capture the feeling of being on heroin other than the one you have in mind right now? I have never tried it (nor do I plan to) but I was really wondering.
Heroin music

None really, heroin feels like being in a bubble with all emotions and cognitive thought gone. You can put on a movie and it'll be over before you even realize it.
So heroin sounds like a charming gentle noise that has a sentimental undertone
anything by Charlie Parker
Trainspotting did an alright job
So music without words then? Somethign simple and continuous yet wholesome?
OP here, I came here to post this after watching trainspotting
I guess
Hard to express the feeling with music because it really does block everything including sensory perception, hence the nodding. All you feel is a strong sense of carefree comfort.
>other than the one you have in mind right now?
kek and which one is that OP?
shoegaze in general
There are lots that I feel would be good for that but this is my go-to

I've never done heroin, that said the 5th movement of the Symphonie fantastique by Berlioz is supposed to mimick his reaction to opium, which should feel somewhat similar.
Perfect Day by Loud Reed
i was trying to be a smartass
ur a piece of shit who brings misery to anyone that's ever loved u.
why my good man?
Grails - Black Tar Prophecies Vols. 1, 2, & 3
Oh
I thought it was Heroin by the velvet underground.
Well shit
jesus how did Cobain manage to do anything with his life, he was smacked out of his mind live
i dont get it
pretty close, but that wat obvious title-wise, Perfect Day is a token heroin song imo
Only right answer. Bird lives. (Never done H nor will i)
>Movement 4 – In a fit of despair he poisons himself with opium; but instead of killing him the narcotic induces a horrific vision, in which he believes he has murdered the loved one, has been condemned to death, and witnesses his own execution.
Sounds more like an opium withdrawal than being on it
Try oxy instead.
that's poetic as fuck
dang, that's good stuff.
Tolerance, of which Cobain had developed an absurd amount. He was shooting much higher doses than even lethal to an average addict
Do people actually hallucinate like that on opium? I always thought he was taking psychedelics.
Heroin by Velvet Underground and I do heroin I'd know
Not at all, it makes it hard to even notice your direct surroundings.
Epin
Sunny Day Real Estate - 48. It captures the comforting feeling of heroin, but also the intense irritability from withdrawal. It transitions from calm to angry in a similar way that the Velvet Underground did on Heroin. The song has undertones of depression, but also home-like nostalgia. But I might be biased because I've been familiar with this song for a while.
Anyone here love oxycodone?
