I wouldn't say that but it's definitely very underrated
ITT: pleb filters
The noise tracks are the ultimate pleb filters
I can't tell if I'm a pleb for thinking TKOL is their best work(haven't listened to their latest album).
...
that's a reverse pleb filter
AnCo is a pleb filter
...
Their most experimental work since Amnesiac, great shit.

You've got it wrong.
Moonchild off of ItCotCK is a pleb filter — the original pleb filter, in fact (if you don't count Armenia City in the Sky from The Who Sell Out (1967), which came out 2 years prior). A pleb gets to Moonchild, says, "Wow, this is shit," and stops listening before they get to the final track.Pic related - Moonchild is the fourth track on the album, with The Court of the Crimson King, the last track, following immediately after. Notice how the first three tracks (21st Century Schizoid Man, I Talk to the Wind, and Epitaph) have noticeably more scrobbles on last.fm than Moonchild and The Court of the Crimson King. This is because the average pleb listens to the first three tracks, gets to Moonchild, and then stops listening before the four-minute mark (or skips it - an unfortunate thing about the digital era is that, unlike with vinyls, one can easily skip around a digital album). This way, neither Moonchild nor The Court of the Crimson King is scrobbled/played. The PLEB has been FILTERED.
What you're referring to as a "pleb filter" is, in fact, a pleb magnet. An artist cannot be a pleb filter, but they can be a pleb magnet.
