Just listened to Black Holes and Revelations. All I'd heard before was The Resistance and The 2nd Law, neither of which are very good outside of a few standout tracks (Such as: Uprising, Unnatural Selection, Supremacy, Luquid State)
But Black Holes is quite good overall imo, I enjoyed most of the tracks. The main gripe i have is that it lost me a bit in the middle-third.
as much as it is a meme to dickride early albums of artists
muse rly did peak w/ their 1st 2 albums
the rest of their shit is just mehhhhh
muse is basically the britbong version of weezer, ignore everything past the 2nd album to play safe
Levi Kelly
cannot deny these double trips
Bentley Stewart
Thanks! Huge fan of his work and his stuff is pretty recognizable. Just haven't heard of this one (Although my wife is a fan...)
Benjamin Price
actually i'm retarded
i forgot showbiz existed
k so origin of symmetry/absolution whatever
Asher Wright
>Black Holes >Resistance >2nd Law kekd
Muse's peak was objectively >Showbiz >Origin of Symmetry >Absolution Can't decide with is best, but those are 1000x better than Black Holes and Revelations.
Listen to Origin of Symmetry and the hullabaloo soundtrack
Blake Gonzalez
I really liked the first 3 or 4 Muse albums. They used to sound like they had so much potential as a band. I remember looking forward to seeing which direction future projects would carry them in, but then that 2009 album was the first in a series of disappointments. Oh well. At least I got to see them live before they were too far gone. It was actually a great show.
Blake Powell
Listen to Origin of Symmetry next. It's easy to dismiss Muse as trash nowadays, but that album was fucking God-tier.
Justin King
Origin of Symmetry was legitimately an exciting and out of this world album at the time of it's release. Without a doubt a classic of the 00s decade.
Shame they decided to coast the rest of their career after Absolution.
>mfw I saw them live back in ~03. Was fucking amazing.
Jason Davis

Dubs of truth. Also, I would have killed to have seen them in 2003.
Jordan Gray
Black Holes is secretly their best album. Origin and Absolution are good, but don't fall for the Showbiz memes.
Luis Nelson
Muse is pure unfiltered dogshit. Literally a shitty Radiohead
Angel Nelson
>Matt Bellamy sings in falsetto sometimes, a technique originally invented by Thom Yorke in the 1990's >they are the same band
You were probably a toddler (at most) when Muse was dropping their best albums. Yes, their last few albums have been pure unfiltered dogshit, but that doesn't lessen the value of their earlier stuff.
Hudson Foster
Pitchfork gave it a 4.2. Therefore I cannot like it.
