You should be able to play this shape, anyway.
If you play it as a power chord, i.e. without the B string note, you don't get to hear the major third interval which lets you know the chord is major.

Depends on the amp. You can crank the presence on some. If your amp has a bright cap, turning the volume down gets you in there.

err i mean i play those notes so it is the chord. but i use my little finger on the second string, while only barring the 3rd and 4th with my ring finger

play scales for half an hour, get a ten minutes rest, and play again and again until you feel your fingers don't want to move anymore. You need hours and hours of practising. As Robert Fripp would say, it's all about discipline.
