There is a documentary describing the stuff serial killers and psychopaths look for in their victims. Some dude said he could find a good victim just by the way she walked. So they did a study exploring that.
They studied 50 women just walking in a straight line, 5 of whom had been victims of abuse/rape. Sex offenders had a 90% accuracy rate in picking out the victims.
Most victims of abuse self injure, btw.
Basic "tells" are uncoordinated arm movement (do not match the pace of their legs), pulling their feet up from the ground without rolling on the balls of their feet, etc Just something not right about how they walk.
None of these guys could articulate what they were seeing until the researchers made them break it down methodically. But basically, if you're fucked up, you don't even need advice. Your brain already knows what to look for.
