it's watchable if you're a scifi-fan. and since there isn't much else around at the moment you might as well give it a try.
I liked the setting but thought most of the characters were boring and therefore sitting through some of the backstory episodes was a chore. for a show this small effects and sets are pretty decent though.

It's decent, would be far better with more interesting characters. They all come off as generic watered-down versions of characters from other sci-fi shows

if you measure how good a show is based on how many female characters there are on the show that i want to bust my balls then yes it's a good show

Expanse is more high budget and mostly grounded in reality. Dark matter is more of the firefly like ship and quirk crew adventure show.

Both are pretty good but for different ways. I like the characters in Dark Matter. I like expanse for world building.

Actually they are pretty mediocre, but compared to expanses characters they are great, as expanse has only one good character - which is Miller. Expanse's characters are so one dimensional and uninteresting, it hurts.

I would hope they say there's something weird up with her because they even note in-universe that she's the only person Two ever met that could actually trade blows with her in single combat.
