There's only one good 'daft punk" song, Stardust.

...

...

I have trouble listening to it since it's so all over the place. Definitely shouldn't have been a double album.

Oooh, I like this one.

Here's another:

I dunno, their pop era had some stinkers. Maybe if you count only Gabriel-era Genesis.

Prove me wrong. Pro-tip: you can't.

OK, here's the Collins-era analogue.

Mama, Home By The Sea, and Just A Job To Do on the same album as Illegal Alien and Taking It All Too Hard.

Tame Impala - currents

YES.

You Only Live Once is easily the best song that The Strokes ever recorded.

Madvillain as a duo made only one album together so it's pointless posting that, unless that's le epic joke or something.

Meant to add this:

On the one hand:

>You Only Live Once
>Juicebox
>Razorblade
>Vision of Division
>Ize of the World
>Red Light

On the other:

>Heart in a Cage
>Killing Lies
>15 Minutes
>Fear of Sleep

Worst: American Idiot
Best: Most of the rest of the album

She's A Rebel is the second weakest track on the album but it's not that bad

Best: San Diego
Worst: Literally everything else holy shit this album sucks

Those are the best albums in each of those artists discographies

Not memeing

THERE IS A GAME OF LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE

which tracks would you say are their best and worst?

Haven't heard this song in years although I used to be a die-hard fan. That. fluid. watery. guitar. sound
Nick's old guitar sound in particular sounds like fresh orange juice- so damn juicy

>Best
Touch
Doin' It Right
Instant Crush

>Worst
Game of Love
Give Life Back To Music

worst:
>crescendolls
best:
>literally everything else

game of love and give life back to music are so good baka

I know, right. I never understood the hype behind Is This It. You Only Live Once made me "get" The Strokes.

Aww but I like crescendolls

Me too.

ehhhhhhhhh idk dude it feels really cheesy compared to the entire album, more like some weird gabber idm shit

...

You're just intentionally being a contrarian now and I know that because you got the song title wrong
youtube.com/watch?v=Zcb1ZN7Jo_4

desu I can't think of a single bad song on NLDW. It's not a perfect album as the songs aren't all perfect songs but none of them are at all bad.
I think a more applicable album for this thread by DG would be Government Plates. Two Heavens is one of the best things they've created while bootleg is, well, I've heard better in soundcloud threads.

...

...

>Best: San Diego
kek

wrong

>worst
One More Time
>Best
Literally gets better as it goes along then takes a decently sized quality drop when it hits Too Long

I think I can agree with this

Maybe my opinion of San Diego is higher than it should be because it is a gem amongst utterly, utterly shite tracks, but I think it's a real banger

I mean yeah it's vi-IV-I-V but whucare

Rhinestone Eyes, Empire Ants, and On Melancholy Hill are some the best material Gorillaz ever recorded.

Then, you have garbage like Welcome To The World Of The Plastic Beach.

Best: Doin it right
Worst: Get lucky

KEK APPROVES!!!

now you're just being contrarian. Every track is great except Too Long

pro-tip: i can

instantly came to mind

Yes.

Here's another one.

Agreed on the good stuff, but I don't mind Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach that much.

Sweepstakes, on the other hand, is trash. Not a fan of White Flag either.

You really missed the point here. Obviously their only album contains their best and worst material

oops forgot tag

eh, a couple tracks are just meh and a little quirky. Nothing is really trash per say. I think visions would be better for this thread personally.

It's more relatively weak and not up to the standard of the weaker stuff on their first two albums.

Came here to post this. What's really funny is that if you ask fans to say which songs are the best and which are the worst, there won't be any agreement. Some people say that Revolution 9 and Why Don't We Do It In The Road are some of the greatest songs they ever released, others rank them among the worst. Some people love the cutest stuff like Don't PassMe By and Honey Pie, others say they're just schlock. It's weird cause it's not just a very eclectic album, it's also a very divisive album. I think that's why I think it was a good decision to release it as a double album.

>not appreciating one of the greatest daft punk tracks
The worst is the interlude track

What song on this is better than the Neighbourhood suite or Wake Up or Rebellion.

Scream is her worst song easily

>Awful Sound (Oh Eurydice)/It's Never Over (Hey Orpheus)
>Porno
>Afterlife
>Supersymmetry
>Anything but the best 5 songs they ever recorded in a row.

It should beat everything you listed. I might have to give you Haiti, though.

The slow jazz / R&B songs are the worst...

You have songs like 5/4 Tomorrow comes today Clint fucking Eastwood Punk Rock in the house 19-2000 and M1 A1
And for the other hand you have Latin Simone and New Genius

An almost perfect disc

I wouldn't call it their best but it's some of their best, definitely better than Wake Up and Rebellion.

You only live once is the only good song on that album imo, and i would still take almost every song off of is this it over that song. I would even take most of the songs from room on fire over YOLO. FIOE is easily the most lackluster album in the strokes discography nearly every dong is garbage

Haiti, No Cars Go, and the good tracks off The Suburbs are probably their actual best.

But It's Never Over ---> Porno ---> Afterlife are all just as good and are easily the strongest progression they ever recorded.

>not Foxtrot
Can-Utility and Supper's Ready on the same album as Time Table and Get 'Em Out by Friday.

I do believe you meant
>worst
High Life
Crescendolls
>best
Everything else

The only bad songs of that album is Nightvision and High Life.
Crescendolls is amazing.

...

>ywn play that 3d gorillaz website flash game in high school comm tech class again

I know that feel, bro. Addictinggames.com kept me out of the ivies.

Like killing time on ebaums world after school in the science rooms when we were supposed to be working on Science Olympiad projects.

Fuck you, except for Back in the USSR, FUCK that track

Should be a single album

1. Magnificent 7
2. Junco Partner
3. Something About England
4. The Crooked Beat
5. Somebody Got Murdered
6. One More Time
7. Lightning Strikes
8. Police On My Back
9. Hitsville UK
10. The Call Up
11. Washington Bullets
12. Hidden Track - Version Pardner

I would say this or NOTM

I can't belive Sup Forums turned on her. Kala is one of the best from the 2000's.

>tfw there are really plebs on this board who don't appreciate Too Long

GTFO

...

fuck off plebs, nightvision is beautiful and it should have been longer as well

add giorgio by moroder and motherboard to best, within to worst, and then you're perfect

>implying Get 'Em Out by Friday is anywhere even slightly near their worst material

...

still manages to be their overall best album tho

...

I feel like every song on that album was exactly 50%

Why do you hate that track? I love it.

>Best

>Worst
everything

Deja Vu, Beautiful, Careful What you wish for, Hello, Stay wide awake being the best, the rest is some of his worst along with recovery

Wrong way around friendo

That's their best album

Straight up

world of dogs is one of the only death grips songs i can say i really dislike

>Best
Paranoid
RoboCop
Street Lights
Coldest Winter
Bad News
>Worst
The rest

AnCo's best song is not Danse Manatee

Worst song maybe

this is the most pleb opinion i've seen on this board. i'm not joking

OMFG, this.

I meant to add Georgio By Moroder and [maybe] Motherboard, and I forgot about how forgettable Within was.

Probably because the mind-warping awesomeness of Doin' It Right scrubs Within from memory.

giorgio by moroder is by far the best thing Daft Punk has done post Alive

Houses of the holy...No Quarter & the ocean...then a putrid reggae joke & gag on James Brown

Prepared to defend

Touch still pwns it.

>Giorgio by Moroder
>nifty 2 minute intro by Giorgio Moroder

>Touch
>No intro by Giorgio Moroder
>not nifty

need I say more?

This

Yeah, but Touch's second half absolutely kills Giorgio By Moroder

youtu.be/XfH3erWacsQ

Skip to 5:00 to see what I mean.

...

Okay, just listened through again. I like Touch better now, but I still prefer Giorgio by Moroder. I don't think I get the emotion of Touch too well.

...

I like all of the songs other than Revolution 9, which I find boring and unlistenable.

Swapping it out for Hey Jude gives the album a climax before the denouement that is Good Night.

Exactly this. I'm not sure how this didn't come to mind before.

new genius is bretty gud imo

but Let it happen is pretty fucking great
