He's forcing producers to manufacture their goods in the States under threat of high tariffs, which 1) Will not only NOT increase the NET total of jobs in the States but will also drive the cost of products both foreign and domestic for consumers and small businesses, and 2) Is another slap in the face to American Conservatism. He also wants to directly intervene in the Time Warner/AT&T merger for... I don't really know. Neither company is hitting their profit margins and they see this as a way of keeping themselves afloat. So hey, three slaps to the face of American Conservatism!
This would all be no big deal if a plan was in the works to cut federal expenditure considerably, as Trump is lowering tax brackets and combined with the aforementioned issues, this will only contribute an even greater amount to the deficit than his predecessor and will skyrocket inflation. Unfortunately, I don't know where that plan is. We know he's not slashing healthcare, as he's opting for an even more universal form of it than Obamacare.
