I use pine needle smoke to smoke them with. It doesnt calm them down, it actually panics the bees, simulating a fire near the hive. In their panic, they try to eat all their honey in preparation for abandoning hive. While they are panicking, they are too preoccupied to see you are getting in their business. Additionally, the smoke can block out certain pheromones.

Well, they will try to raise up a new queen. Depending on the age of the hive, and time of year, this can work. often they will raise more than one, and kill all but one.
But I had a hive of Russians that I extracted from someones home, and I must have missed their queen when I took them. Anyways, they went fucking nuts. Got extremely aggressive, but continued collecting honey. Eventually they all died of old age. Just angry fuckers.

I usually don't go higher than 18mg myself, but the rush is really good if your tolerance is low. Nicotine is a nootropic too, so it helps with focus and attention span, and creativity; helps me get way more writing done. Just have to be careful and not hit too hard at once or you can make yourself pretty sick.

Well, no. Not that aggressive.
People often mistake wasps for bees. You likely have never been stung by a bee you know? Bees, unless given a pheromone signal, or under physical duress will not sting.
I only got stung 5 or 6 times this summer, and I was wrist deep in bees at least once a week.
The Russians only got aggressive within a few feet of their hive. Not stinging, but coming out to ping you (head butt you fairly hard) and chasing you away.
Wasps however, are much less... Hive minded. They can choose to sting on a whim. And they do.
Finally quit smoking with this vape thing. My only regret is not doing this sooner. Getting stoned and just sitting around hitting a vape getting that nicotine fix is amazing. I've been smoking less weed because the constant supply of nicotine makes the high last long mmmm.

(OP) Same, I have a natural high tolerance for stuff. When I had to get knee surgery I needed 1.5 - 2 times the normal dosage for my height/weight because of my resistance. Sucks, means you gotta spend more money to get high each time you smoke. :/

Well, Ideally, you get it straight from the comb. Each chamber of the comb has honey from a single day, and mostly from a single source, so it has a unique taste. When you mix hives, you are mixing frames from multiple sources, multiple diets, multiple times. Its always crisper the more "pure" the honey is.
As for crystals, the public, for some reason doesnt like crystals in their honey. So big companies super heat the honey so it cannot go back to it's crystal form. The crystals are just how honey becomes after a while. It hasnt gone bad. If you heat it to 100 degrees, it will go back to a liquid without killing enzymes or harming the natural breadth of flavor.

Thats really informative and interesting. How do I know if my honey is from multiple hives? I just buy "natural local honey" from shop rite. It seems good to me since its crystallized and tastes much more flavorful and less artificially sweet, than the regular liquid honey I buy.
Also is the honey from your own beekeeping a lot better than a "local organic" honey bought at a store? Both taste wise and health wise?

Well, a small, personal colony that you tend yourself will always be more rewarding. But if they are small batch organic farmers market bee keepers, they likely just ship a few dozen hives around your local agriculture, or ship them to California where they are pollinating almond trees. Thats actually where most the bees in the US are... shipped out to California in the winter for the almond industry.
I would say your own always tastes better, because you can get it out of the hive and in your mouth in ten minutes. And that's neat.

roxy's. it runs in the family. My dad snapped his forearm over the summer and they had to give him dilaudid just so he wasn't in a bunch of pain cause if they had given him any more morphine it may have been fatal.
