Admit it, you would love this character if she were a man.

Why?
Give me 3 reasons to love that character as a male.

Perhaps. Is he of the night?

he'd be even worse. just another generic so-evil schemer

No, it would still be a disgusting bastard.

>Overthrew an incompetent regime
>Advanced the plot with five minutes of screentime more than the rest of the cast over the course of an entire season
>Would probably be Gerold Dayne.

They could have just cast Arianne and it would make ten times more sense, since she would actually be the heir to Dorne and have a reason for scheming beyond avenging the dude she fucked

>Would probably be Gerold Dayne.
And that's the story of how user won the argument.

>Overthrew an incompetent regime
incompetent? They are the wealthiest economy in the continent (rest is ruined by war), biggest army, and the only ones ready to survive the winter (maybe the vale too).
>Advanced the plot with five minutes of screentime more than the rest of the cast over the course of an entire season
In the worst way possible, a fucking generic "you are not fit to rule" scene, backstabbing included.
>Would probably be Gerold Dayne.
Gerold Dayne doing stupid things would be equally terrible, maybe less annoying.

>Man wants to avenge his dead wife who died in a fight she entered voluntarily, so he conspires with his wife's sons to murder a boy that's related to the woman who had his wife's brother killed long ago. After doing so they also murder the wife's benevolent sister and her daughter because they're "weak women"

>Oberyn was bisexual

>incompetent
Spend the last season building Dr. Bashir as a good diplomat
Expect us to forget that

>They are the wealthiest economy in the continent (rest is ruined by war), biggest army, and the only ones ready to survive the winter (maybe the vale too).
Except for no they aren't. They are in a unique position come Winter, but Dorne has an army of about 50,000. That really isn't much for a region of that size. And in terms of their economy, it is based mostly on agricultural trade. They provide the realm with exotic crops, but Dorne is mostly desert. There is no textual evidence to support the idea that they are terribly wealthy.

>Don't make me leave like this Trystane

Sounds like an average day in the Byzantine Empire.

holy shit.. ur right

How was he a good diplomat? He didn't do shit.

>loving a childkiller

Compared to the rest, yes they are.

I would love that character if she was true to how she was in the books and not a Stannis level character assassination.

Sounds pretty red pilled, desu.
