Help me finish this chart boys.
Existential Crisis/Dread Core
i would definitely put Buy - James Chance and the Contortions but it may not fit in with the theme you got there
Unknown Pleasures, Spiderland
Unknown Pleasures
The Body - I shall die here
Deathconsciousness
Wyatt Rock Bottom
Moon and Antarctica and Songs About Leaving
I can sometimes appreciate Pitchfork for describing certain aspects of albums well.
"Most grand, expansive, experimental albums of this sort are expected to end with a quiet snuff. Modest Mouse explode into the noisiest, fastest piece to close the record. "What People are Made Of" cuts abruptly on fuzzed bass, clashing cymbals, and attacking guitars-- an ideal ending for a record centered on death and the inability to understand."
>existential music
>no Queen is Dead
>acting like Pink Moon is existential and not just sad because he killed himself afterwards
stop
Would you really consider Laughing Stock to be that, though?
I think it's very spiritual and uplifting, very different from the other albums on that chart.
Scott Walker - Tilt
i always listen to this when i dread existing
literally this
this
...
Deathconsciousness should be on it definitely
...
add:
>grouper-the man who died in his boat
>laurel halo- quarantine
>emeralds- ledges
to me laughing stalk always has a really melancholy tone that's why i think it fits.
oh yeah definitely grouper
Curtains - John Frusciante
my life is going ok right now, but i hope i never get in the kind of mood again where all i did was ride my bike, drink and listen to grouper alone in the woods.
I love her music so much, but it definitely takes me out of this world in a dissipating sort of way
...
some of these are kinda meh.. talk talk and moon and Antarctica always make me feel a lot better desu
Fushitsusha - 1st
Just listen to the anguish in Haino's voice on Acchi and you'll know what I mean.
Ghost Tropic
Maybe this
fuck yes, Ledges makes me dread as soon as the first notes hit, and I love it.
youtu.be
I love this song so much
Down Colorful Hill + Stratosphere
Cop, White Light, and TGA are all more existential than Soundtracks.
Joy Division - Closer
...
Existential crisis you say?
...
explain right now how this is existential
my mom told me it was
oooh yesss i love mirroring so much too. Really everything she is involved with is incredible.
it's not. don't add too many bad things to the chart....
deceit is like the opposite of existensial
Carissa's Wierd - Songs About Leaving
A Place to Bury Strangers - A Place to Bury Strangers
Airs- Adore
Joy Division- Closer
Planning for Burial - Below the house
Nothing - Tired of Tomorrow
Low- I could live in hope
Grouper- Dragging a Dead Deer up a Hill
Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska
Skywave - Killerrockandroll
Angels of Light - How I loved You
Some of these may not be specifically existential, but I feel their themes are similar.
FUCKIN THIS
LAZIEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME TBQH
Omega Massif - Kalt
Street Sects - End Position
Add Gorillaz's Stop the Dams.
no
Is Talk Talk - Laughing Stalk An Existential Album?

Get rid of Deathconsciousness and Giles Corey. It's not cool or funny to pretend to like Dan Barrett anymore.
