Math rock
Friend or Foe?

what are some albums that you would describe as pure rock with no subgenres?

Pic related

definitely not that. It incorporates too much world sound in the guitar. The guitar almost sounds spanish or something at times

difficult question desu, maybe this

looks terrible

looks or sounds?

the cover looks like the album will be terrible

sorry your eyes had to see that bud

prolly Motorhead

Last Deep Purple album worth owning or listening to.

Only good thing David Coverdale ever did with the band.

There's a good reason Ritchie Blackmore left to form Rainbow after this album came out.

motorhead is heavy metal

Nazareth is more bluesy hard rock than just rock
that being said I didn't listen that album of theirs

loldad

Dire Straits is somewhat blues rock. Born to Run is first thing that comes to mind with no blues, psych, prog, hard or any other genre.

anything by Status Quo

what's the best Deep Purple album and why is it Fireball?

Made in Japan

Megadeth or Metallica

>please respond
kek

born to run gives off a very heartland vibe. Story telling based songs like thunder road deviate from traditional hard rock.

definitely not that has a ton of southern influence

how is this man such a god
both can go into the trash bin

Underrated gems? pic related

Rec me some good psych that isn't The Doors or Pink Floyd's early stuff.

This, but I belong to the school of thought that The Beatles were the best thing to happen to Rock music.

...

>p

because unpretentious blues rock with no gimmicks

I'm also in your school of thought. I think The Who, Beach Boys, and Kinks did a lot of good for the future of rock music, but no one contributed as much good for Rock's foundation as The Beatles.
