I hope you guys do better than those morons over at Sup Forums!

It's unfair to post this to Sup Forums those inbred nazi's never stand a chance... 32

mmm, liberal tears, my favorite beverage.

200/(25x4) = 200/100 = 2

BEDMAS

200/25(2^2)
200/25(4)
8(4)
32

or if you go in PEMDAS order(multiply first) then
200/100
2

could be 2 or 32

...

32.
Divide and multiply are on the same scale so it all depends on which comes first.

>being a lefty
>calling anyone else a retard

kys faggot.

Multiplication and division in PEMDAS are done in order from left to right.

blah blah blah
another math bait thread by exploiting different forms order of operations

32

I prove a my work!

200/25(2^2)
=200/25(4) (bracket/parenthesis)
=8*4 (division,multiplication - left to right)
=32

What do I win? Is it a wall?

It's not PEMDAS it's
P
ER
MD
AS

You start with parentheses then work left to right solving first all exponents & radicals. Then you go back to the left and work to the right doing all multiplication and division as you go along, then finally the same for all addition and subtraction.

The only answer is 32.

HahA no need a basic math test to know that.
I visit Sup Forums like I go to a zoo. Nature is amazing

... the whole point of order of operations is that it is a standard. This is how math is done.

if it had have been written as a fraction, implying that the top (200) and bottom (25*(2^2)) are to be treated individually before finally dividing 200 by 100, then that would be a different story... but that isn't how it's written, and so not how it shall be done.

>the whole point of order of operations is that it is a standard. This is how math is done.
but there are different forms of order of operations

You're all trolling, right? Right???
It's 2

The fucking answer is 64

answer is 9/11

answer is the battle of gettysburg

2

They all mean the same thing though

1. Brackets/Parentheses
2. Exponents and radicals in order of written direction
3. Multiplication and division in order of written direction
4. Addition and subtraction in order of written direction.

Whether you call it bedmas, or pedmas, or permdas, or ooo, it all means the same thing.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled pornography and falsehoods.

I see these a lot. No person seriously devising a math expression would purposefully format it in this ambiguous of a way. This is clearly intended to stir up controversy between people who don't know how to do math very well.

...

a diagonal slash does not mean the same thing as a horizontal bar denoting a fraction

This. The question is rigged. The crooked liberal media is out to get them.
