What the fuck is wrong with Americans?
After Ghostbusters, the Blues Sisters?
Don't forget Dani Ocean's Eleven.
directed by Max Landis
...
Let's show this prehistoric white male how we do things downtown.
Theo and Luis fucking when?
it is EQUALITY we are talking about, right?
not a female takeover
I swear if they ever decide to remake Back to the Future I'm going to lose my shit
The past is not very progressive though.
I think the director or somebody hes kept the rites to himself. it might happen when he dies and his children or something sell it off.
>Judy Gold

But Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron are pretty reasonable for those roles. In fact they'd be great for some kind of Pointbreak like action film. I'd rather they did an original story of course.
>Martha(rule 63 Marty) go to the past
>All jokes is about how racist/mysoginic people were and how heroine will smite them for this
>Heroine changed future to be more progressive and tolerant
Whats so hard about women making their own franchises, its obvious they can just look at every YA movie, why do they want to just take what men have ?
What would you call a female version of Citizen Kane?
>Who was the funniest Ghostbusters cast member
After I have been forced to watch this movie I can say it was clearly Chris Hemsworth.
Citizen Tampon
Clitizen Jane
>the funniest person in the movie is the one who isn't a professional comedian
Can't say I'm surprised, really.
Citizen Menstrual Pain
Jane Eyre?
aren't they rebooting oceans eleven with all female cast?
suffragette jane
he's probably a funny guy in general who has to do action hero roles because of his body type
Not the blues brothers
how about something new?
When are you guys going to realize that Hollywood and its movies aren't some sacred institution that respects its own history? The only thing that matters is money. Right now and for the better part of the last ten years, the name of the game is reboots and IP. They're going to remake everything they can, it doesn't matter what kind of prestige the original had. It doesn't matter if the new one is good or not. These things are established brands with built in fanbases, that's all that matters.
I don't get why people freak out about this shit especially when it has been happening forever at this point. One day you'll realize you care more about movies than the idiots making them.
You guys just like to get angry. I've never even seen a Blues Brothers thread on here, but I bet we're gonna get Alt-Right posting up the ass if this movie actually happens.
Why don't the list the cons to go along with the pros?
It's more than that though. They're actively insulting and mocking us in hopes that it leads to a large, different market.
How could anyone think of this idea and not immediately think "Soul Sisters" would make much more sense
I don't give a fuck about all this Sup Forums circlejerk stuff, but I would just like to say Judy Gold is a horrible comedian.
>Judy Gold
>Gold
EVERY FUCKING TIME
>Everyone's doing it so why bother?
You and people who share your mentality are responsible for the fall of western civilisation
yes instead of just having normal shitty 80s remakes let's have shitty 80s remakes that pander to feminists
Natalie in Leon 2 NOW!!
I'd heard of one in the works since 2012
and some faggot cunts already made Reservoir Cats, a shot for shot remake but with all chicks instead.
Citizen Parasol
The director and Co writer both said it will only happen over their dead bodies.
I make a blues brothers thread when I rewatch it a couple times a year
Lethal Weapon female cast when?
Because you're on one of the boards that make up the never-ending cancerous circlejerk portion of Sup Forums (Sup Forums,Sup Forums,/r9k/,Sup Forums,Sup Forums)
It's completely obvious that they share the same userbase and really nobody outside of these boards likes them. (Sup Forums is a bit of an outlier because it's mostly kids there, /r9k/ is more left-leaning on many issues. But all that cringy "manenist" shit keeps them together beautifully.
That wasn't the point of my post at all and if you honestly think that the people who aren't exhausting themselves worrying about the latest Hollywood Goldstein productions are responsible for the decline of western civilization, you're just dumb.
Matilda: The Professional isn't going to fucking happen.
It probably shouldn't either. He sucks at sequels look at Taken 2 and 3.
Citizen BANE?
Falling for the trolls.
I don't think you actually give a single care about "western civilization" beyond being able to say it to try and win arguments. I'll bet you bring it up often and about things you don't like.
I'll bet you were the guy who at the slightest provocation started calling people nazis and comparing them to hitler to try and "win".
The Blues Brothers is one of those classic comedies that everyone likes. It doesn't generate a lot of discussion since there's no "nerdy" aspect to it but if you asked your average Joe about it he would probably say "I love that movie!"
What's the lesson to be found here? Women can only pump out inferior versions of things men originally created? Good job, progressives.
I don't like it.
blues brothers combined several elements into a classic movie, a remake is doomed
>great comedy due to the leads
>great music
>celebrities made up 80% of the cast
>one of the best car chases
It wouldn't be able to be made today. People would be all up about "what is with the cultural appropriation of black culture".
>Judy Gold is a horrible comedian
She was on the Doug Loves Movies podcast a few months back and it was an absolute shitshow. Her sense of humor is abysmal and she would not shut the fuck up even though everyone on stage was clearly annoyed by her bullshit.
MEW as Jane Mclaine would be adorable and qt as fuck. Would watch three times in a row in the theater.
Who are they going to get to play Ripley (Alien), or Alice (RE)
>People still buying into the Ronda Rousey meme.
Bitch got knocked out and gained 60lbs.
Obviously still eating like she used to, but not training as much.
Leslie Jones and the Temple of Doom
But she was already his daughter Lucy in Live Free. Her just being as big a bad ass in a situation after that is just natural progression.
Anything for more sweaty tank top mew.
We Amy Schumer now.
They call us sexist, but they perpetuate a stereotype that women can only succeed by following in the footsteps of a man. Retards.
She's gotta do something. She ain't making 35 again, it's over.
>the professional 2
>it's essentially /ss/ the movie
these people don't even know what monster they're creating
wow, same thing happened with gina carano. what is it with women not being able to bounce back from a loss?
You know good as damn well why they don't list the cons for women actors
See
>The Blues Sisters
I'M ACTUALLY TRIGGERED DON'T EVEN SAY THAT. DON'T EVEN THINK IT.
they like losing money it seens
cant wait for charlotte Angels though
>MEW walking around with bloody bare feet
When they do an all-male remake of 'Waiting to exhale', or 'Sex and the city', or some other chick flick, then I'll know that the apocalypse is truly at hand.
Better than libshits thinking they're welcome here.
Don't forget black, female Iron "Man".
In Ginas case, she was too attractive to be a fighter, and was looking for an out anyways. The top level of womens fighters at the time had like 10% of the exposure current ones do.
Ronda was just built up to be the GOAT and then got btfo in front of millions of people.
What the fuck happened
>2016
>Liberals
>Millennials
>Feminism hurr durr we can do as good as the men DOWN WITH THA PATRIARCHY GRRL POWA
Because
>womyn can't do wrong - and if they do it's still the men to blame
Hi /heem
She's not scheduled for a fight so she doesn't have a weight regimen right now, she's always been fat look at her judo photos
>Face the pain
I made a joke about them doing a female version of the Blues Brothers the other day. I didn't think someone would actually have the same thought and take it seriously.
Dan ackroyd is still alive
I'm okay only with James bond, since there's a million actors for that character.
>Blues Sisters
>not calling it Soul Sisters, a tale of two black sisters searching for the meaning of their lives after their mama's death
This shit writes itself.
Just like how GB '16 should have been set in Baton Rouge.
>Pros: should be in all movies
What
A "Blues Sisters" wouldn't really bother me since Blues Brother 2000 already did a pretty good job of ruining the franchise.
They already made Reservoir Cats - it's called Set it Off.
thats the third thing max landis' dad killed
>Blues Sisters
How about we make an original movie instead of remaking good ones for no reason other than to push a agenda?
Citizen Jane
Citizen May
You answered your own question. Why even ask it?
Why not just make a female-led movie that's LIKE Die-Hard? Why not just cast Gillian Anderson in a spy movie WITHOUT calling her "Jamie Bond"? Why co-opt things and make them female instead of coming up with an original idea that the female audience can call their own? Why just give underrepresented groups the table scraps of more mainstream groups?
Oh right, because Salt flopped like a fish and this is all really about money, no matter how much the studios insist it's about """diversity""".
>They remake the Blues Brothers and cast two black women
>Completely missing the point that BB came from Aykroyd and Belushi growing up on Southern Blues despite being gawky white boys and that's the joke
I honestly wouldn't be surprised.
>Hemsworth isn't a professional comedian
Isn't he mainly known for starring in the comedy films "Thor" and "Thor 2 The Dark World"?
If Beyonce is cast I'm joining ISIS.
>All this fuss about movies with female leads
>All this stuff in the media concerning little girls having positive female role models
>Instead of making new characters or new good movies, let's just rehash everything that has ever been popular and genderbend the cast
I do not understand.
Those were children's movies.
The people who are rich in this country are so rich that they can't count all of their money. Thus, to ease that burden, they finance stupid movies in the hopes that a series of megaflops will reduce their wealth to a manageable level.
luckily he doesn't own the rights anyways
>27 Bowties
>Always a groomsman, never the groom.
Looking forward to the all-male "Steel Magnolias" remake.
