last days of humanity - putrefaction in progress

Poison - Into the Abyss

I know I'll get memed to death but can anyone recommend melodeath like this?

youtube.com/watch?v=Gs5hipPlvws
youtube.com/watch?v=KYWaK0c6JR0

post metal i can jam to

That album and the previous one (which were the last good Gothemburg works) are pretty unique. I guess DT's contemporary releases is as close as you can get.

...

In Flames - Whoracle

do you enjoy getting fucked in the ass

kek

Is Disturbed good enough to go head to head with the previous big four?

Yeah, I listened to both of them today after a couple of years and I was wondering if there was similar stuff. Other melodeath just feels way too cheesy for my liking.

>your opinion
stupid_faggot_mouse_fucking_dies.jpg

This.

Kreator's Goethenberg influenced *kind of* comes close, but It's certainly not the same.

>Kreator's Goethenberg influenced
Sorry, what?

BOW DOWN BEFORE THE MASTER

Did you guys listen to this?
How do you feel about it?

youtube.com/watch?v=ggE3OwlPIYc

Which Big Four?

was just listening to this, good choice user

Enemy of God is probably the most Goethenberg-esque...

Though it lacks In Flames' guitar harmonizing, so maybe I shouldn't have brought it up.

Their best. Fight me.

shittiest thing i've heard in quite some times
black metal for pop listeners

...

>base your band around a concept full of hatred, suffering, pain, etc
>play cuck p4kshit
Fucking Americans. Also it isn't metal.

I remember him posting a demo from that on Sup Forums like five or six years ago and everyone encouraged him to make more. His other moniker's stuff is straight up pop.

i got this for like a buck on tape with this on one side and schizophrenia on the other its sick

The fantastic 4

very nice

I don't know man...

Disturbed ain't got shit on The Human Torch. Sue and Reed are kind of irreplaceable. The Thing...I mean, he's unique enough that it's hard to take him off.

Knarrenheinz a cute!

A CUTE

Knarrenheinz is cute!
CUTE!

>Sodomeme

t. Untermensch

Delet this

should i finally listen to this album?

I think Reed would have been made a good 80s, hair guy. Anyone who would name themselves Mr Fantastic definitely has a Nikki Sixx/Sebastian Bach vibe to him.

It's my personal favorite album by them. Though it's not exactly thrash like Persecution Mania or Agent Orange, and it's not fusion like Tapping the Vein and Get What You Deserve. Definitely still listen to it though

...

A pretty damn good pop album

I made a thread about it the other day and was pleasantly surprised at how many people had listened to and liked the album

Reed on bass (them noodle fingers could do some sick work)
Johnny on guitar...because going supernova mid solo
Thing on drums.

Which leaves Sue on vocals. Though she can convienently disappear during instrumentals.

I like the late new wave vibe it has, poppy but still dark and brooding.

What does Sup Forums think of Woods of Ypres? Also post blackened doom

youtu.be/CUxQiMDtJF4

You meme loving fucks know what to do

Yeah, I listen to new wave
Depche Mode, Ulver, Perturbator the list goes on...

We're not fighting your battles for you.

I mean I replied with a shit meme so I guess I am

Any enjoyment I once got out of memes has been driven through the mantle of the Earth with the colossal hydraulic press that is /metal/.

>features Bjorn "Speed" Strid

It does. Great song, love his voice.

So why is metal edgy angstful teenager music and what genre of music should I be listening to at age 20+ ? Please don't tell me I have to start sucking off Beethoven and Rachmaninoff or some shit.

>hair trigger
uh-oh, someone took the joke seriously

I realized it was taking the piss and asked my question regardless. I'm genuinely curious on what is considered adult music and why metal apparently falls outside of whatever that constitutes.

>Name 1 (one) album that doesn't feature Bjorn "Speed" Strid
You can't

To be an adult you have to listen to bland indie music with sad lyrics
