I liked it overall but didn't really like the underground society half of the movie. I guess the movie needed some sort of plot and it's kind of Fallout-y in a way but I didn't like it.
What does that mean
Yeah I get that, it didn't sit well with me at first either
Bump
How was it "Fallout-y?"
Underrated.
Agreed
I liked the book more but otherwise thought it was really good.
Whichave book was it in a review I heard both "A boy and his dog" and "the dog that shouted love into the heart of world" as titles which one is it? The latter sounds like a Ellison title

It's based on a book, dumb ass
It's vic and blood
No that's the prequel written after the film
I have this and one of the stories is the same as the movie
Probably a comp made later, but thanks I'll keep a eye out for it
One is a prequel, then the movie story with way more detail, then an epilogue
I enjoyed it, mainly because I had a raging hard on for Don Johnson after getting into Miami Vice. It was also nice to see something, other than Mad Max, that inspired Fallout.
looks p cool what movie is it?
It kind of meanders a bit when they get underground, but the ending is hilariously awesome.
It's A Boy and His Dog, it is public domain you can find the full movie on YT
Yeah I guess I appreciate the effort put into fleshing out a society we only see for 20-30 mins
Thank you. You are so helpful, you must be from a good family.
Are you being sarcastic?
i cringed a bit when Johnson was screaming at the dog
No, I'm about to watch it.
Imagine that set
Good flick, perfect ending
Funnily enough Harlan would disagree, but most seem to like this one
