i know it sounds gay but if you can make yourself do some yoga it will cure that shit. just get a mat and find a youtube series with a hot teacher. also eat healthier and exersize and focus on standing up straight in public. make sure the chairs you sit in dont suck.

There are some good how tos on Youtube, but if you want the help of a professional, check for Pilates or anything related.

Unless your bones have fused perm. But the brace helps. Also, stretching everyday, tons of vids on utube for that. Been using a pc all my life so i know. honestly, this could be it. i stress over a lot of things and some days my posture is better than others. sometimes my back just feels really tight so i naturally rub my shoulder blades together. ive been trying to sleep solely on my back and feel sometimes that helps.

The heat from the water will help your muscles. Everyday for a good 15 min ill turn it up and let the hit water relieve some shit

i had something slightly related to this (scoliosis) but instead of the spine bending outwards it bent side to side. if it is serious, then go see a doctor. other than that, i would strongly recommend buying a chair buying an ergonomic chair with lumbar support.

i do the same thing in the shower. im not too fat ( 6 foot 2, 193 pounds) but i feel like if i lost about 15 pounds it wouldnt look too bad

OP, you have scheuermann's disease. It ain't just bad posture, and you can't do whit without serious medical intervention. See a doctor, see a chiropractor and see an osteopath, and a specialist. They will tell you if your case is serious enough to warrant the corrective surgery. But be aware, the Operation is brutal. You get a titanium rod screwed into your spine. You basically have to spend 6 months in a bed and recovery takes several years, and the scar is insane. Good luck.

I work a desk job full time, no posture issues at all and do hot yoga twice a week

actually i have no idea what the words were that were in related pic. im 19 and am hunched over is all i know though. i was more hunched over about a year ago and had like no jay until i started using my tongue as support to hold it up. now my face looks normal and my posture is better, but it could improve still.

if it looks weird and if it prohibits you from day to day activities, then it's bad. the surgery is pretty extreme so just train your posture for now

Do this little exercise:
Every few hours, put your wall up against a wall, with one hand push your chin against your chest, like make it so that they're nearly touching, another hand pushes the hips against the wall while your middle section flexes outwards.
Like, 5 minutes or so should be enough, not sure about the duration.
Fixed my problem of having my neck sticking out all the time now i'm doing fine. So it should work on you as well.

Yes, I've been through this. A chiropractor can slowly adjust you over time, but in the end, you can just force yourself to have better posture. It will feel uncomfortable, which is normal.

My chiropractor charges $40. If you can, I'd recommend saving up to see a chiropractor once a week for 1-2 months, 2 if you can. Only because them adjusting you slowly over a fwe weeks (they won't rush it if they're a good chiropractor) will speed up the process and make it easier

Also this guy is right, start very gentle with the yoga though. Personally I do Tai Chi for balance, but I won't disregard yoga's benefits just because I don't like it

Correct answer. Skinnyfatfag with Lordosis. Started working out and I've been having better posture. My spine doesn't naturally hunch as bad as it used to.

Breath in from the bottom of your belly en while doing that straighten up your spine/back from the ribs. Practice and build tension. From there on keep your back straight by form.
