until recently

They say some rare BoC releases like Hooper Bay were released in vinyl too.

>vinyls

This

>Fishmans Rock Festival Box Set

I dream of obtaining this shit

The original instrumental version of the Akira soundtrack. There's a bunch of different bootlegs, in addition to a legit release that has audio from the movie left in. But the definitive version goes for absurd amounts of money.

everything that guy made is a white whale, and that is the whitest of them all

geinoh yamashirogumi is a group not a guy

turns out you're the whitest of em all

a lot of japanese stuff
for example miho fujiwara california crisis

...

Noice

Can's original german pressed discog

An original pressing of Burzum would be incredible.

That'd be insane, but I feel like if they were then there would have been a copy found eventually.

...

b-baka

Some of those really pervy covers from the old days

this, plus SAW II

come on Warp

>whole discography repressed in the last 5 years minus drukqs
>richard makes a comeback album plus an EP, still no drukqs repress

Maybe he doesn't want it to be repressed in vinyl. He said in an interview that Drukqs is more of a "varied tracks compilation" instead of a concise album

m.youtube.com/watch?v=cKH7tVgcvi8

Not even joking.

Was my holy grail until I found it in the wild.

Nice, even the CD reissue is rare as fuck.

I know. ;_; I should have bought the CD reissue like 12 years ago when it was still in print. That's the only CD album missing from my Cyndi collection.

/thread

Drukqs is essentially 2 albums combined, not just because it's 2 discs, but rather drukqs is:

> an of album of the acoustic experiments, essentially the part 1 to "CCAI pt. 2"
>a more standard Aphex album with of some of his most complex beats and breaks he's ever recorded the true "drukqs"
to see what I mean, try breaking the tracks up like this:

>Album 1 "Acoustics":
1. Jynweythek
2. Kladfvgbung Mischk
3. Strotha Tyne
4. Avril 14th
5. Hy A Scullyas Lyf Adhagrow
6. Kesson Dalek
7. Btoum-Roumada
8. QKThr
9. Prep Gwarek 3b
10. Father
11. Petiatil Cx Htdui
12. Ruglen Holon
13. Beskhu3epnm
14. Nanou2

>"Drukqs"
1. Vordhosbn
2. Omgyja-Switch7
3. Gwety Mernans
4. Bbdhyonchord
5. Cock/ver10
6. Mt. Saint Michael + Saint Michaels' Mount
7. Gwarek 2
8. Orban Eq Trx 4
9. Aussois
10. 54 Cymru Beats
11. Lornaderek
12. Meltphace 6
13. Bit 4
14. Taking Control
15. Afx237 v.7
16. Ziggomatic 17

That said, I'd kill for a repress

tfw you will never

This could be your day!

this. can't help but think that vinyl-fi would add a lot to this album

Are you fucking kidding

...

I have three of these. First US presses. Posters, pictures and low numbers.
They're not that difficult to find.

Kicking myself a little bit for not buying while I still had the chance, back when it was in stock on CDJapan

>ywn own STGSTV on vinyl

They did recently re-release Young Prayer, Hollinndagain and HCTI, don't lose hope.

Found this one in an antique store a few months ago. In almost mint condition.
discogs.com/Robert-Johnson-King-Of-The-Delta-Blues-Singers/release/565868

It just got repressed and it's still over $100

Not really into vinyl but if I were it'd probably be this

>Ordered the 2016 Long Season reissue as soon as I saw it was for sale.
>Enjoyed having it in my collection, and listened to it a lot.
>Moved and didn't have space for records.
>Decide to mail my collection to my place.
>USPS fucked up and destroyed the box my records were in.
>While a bunch of sleeves were ruined, most of my collection was intact.
>The only record that was missing was Long Season
It's been months and I'm still fucking gutted over it.

Too poor to buy it now, and by the time i get the money it will be unobtainable.

I hope to never feel a pain that bad but I feel for you user. When I moved I kept my vinyl in my carry on rolling suitcase. Is there any chance you'll be compensated

>tfw it's the only Cyndi I like

Limited 10" version of quite possibly my all-time favourite album.

It's a great album, but I can totally understand not being into her solo career.

Nope. I made the mistake of shipping it via media mail, so nothing was insured. I submitted a claim, but I haven't received anything back.

Are CDs allowed too?

For nearly two years I've been hunting for this eight-disc box set of obscure small-label country music with accompanying 275-page book. Back when it was in print in the early 2000's it went for $150, now it's over $400.

...

>tripfag thinks anyone cares

Commodo's All of the Lights remix.
You can't buy it, it's a dubplate exclusive

bump

One of the record stores me came across an original press of Filosfem, it was $250. it seemed to be in good condition.

I thought i remembered Rich saying on his soundcloud that drukqs was going to be getting a repress? could be happening in the next 5 years (I think rich said "next year" but we know how fast he'll move on to something else and put things on the back burner)

Yeah, it's not that hard to find when they printed millions.

going to try this tracklist out. Thanks dude.

Have all their records on vinyl. The shipping from Hong Kong literally costs as much as the record does. It's the shipping that's a killer. Glad their new album will be getting a separate US pressing so I don't have to pay out the ass on air mail

It's not as rare as dad rockers want to believe. hundreds of thousands were pressed before the sleeve was pulled for alternate art work following the crash.

Fuck I really want that

holy shit man, I want to buy you a new copy, that's the fucking worst

There was a reissue a year or two ago. I don't think it'd bad that pricey

I have it, feels good man

just got my copy from vmp today

>the crying orc
kek

HI WITCHY.

bump

might as well post here.

I'm new to the vinyl game. I have an old phillips turntable that has a broken stylus, also the head looks kinda weird, it's not original. I live in eastern europe so there is a no brand head. So I decided to buy a new one.

as I don't know how these things are sold I must ask you to tell me if this covers everything I need:

amazon.de/Audio-Technica-AT95EBL-MM-Tonabnehmer/dp/B004NRVUMI/ref=pd_sim_107_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G711XM6GD3247Q2QHX0B

Or do I need to buy the stylus as well.
thanks

Not very hard to find, even UK early presses. The Parlophone labels are pretty hard to find and expensive.

Pic somewhat related, my holy grail, Paul McCartney (signed?) Hope For The Future remix.

...

Never bought a cartridge that didn't have a stylus. That should be fine

make sure the head is compatible with your turntable

i've been searching for years

it is yes, the weird thing is the head is like 50€ in my country thats why it worried me to buy it off amazon

this

NEVER EVER

This is the definitive holy grail

original 3x LP mellon collie w/ the different tracklisting. also numbered

going for roughly 300$+ last i checked on discogs. i mean it's affordable but i've never spent *that*much on a single record before

...

I do have it tho.
Pressing sucks don't bother wasting your money on it.

Depends, which did you get, the original UK limited edition or the US repress? I have the Danse Manatee US one and the pressing does suck ass.

...

and this

There's one for $2000 on Discogs, should I cop?

IIRC Milan Records is putting out a reissue.
