So I'm really just deciding between, moving to some shitty south American country and getting involved in whatever, or blowing my life savings in Vegas and overdosing while I'm there.
Any other options? I really don't give a shit about life anymore.

user my mothers did the same shit to my dad. Dad divorced mom due to drug issues, mom got mad and told police he was abusing us. Mom coached us and got a restraining order for us. My dad simply moved a few states away and waited for the order to lift and for us to grow up. I grew up hating him because of the lies I was fed. Long story short my sister and I eventually realized what really happened and now we have a great relationship with him (we're in our mid 20s now). My advice is just better yourself and periodically just send a letter or try to call. Don't add gifts just tell her about what you're doing and ask what's she's upto. Eventually she will realize you arnt what the mom says you are. Things won't be the same but at least you won't lose your offspring and she won't lose a father.

Literally just finished essentially winning my court case. Mother was trying to take full custody, while not workin and trying to get $200 a week from me. Judge laughed at her, bailiff laughed but tried to hide it. Judge told her she needs to get a job, will only have him 4 days a week and I only have to pay $60 now, and she signed an agreement that none of it can be disputed in the future as far as the child support goes, so even if i was to win the lottery or something/get a job that pays twice what i make she cant get anything more.
