It limits how much you can play unless you put in money, which is bullshit, but not that bad. You can still go for an hour or so at a time, and certainly longer than you'd need on your phone.

You can randomly roll for them using some orbs. Most you get is obviously trash though.

It's a shame all fights are 4 on 4, but I guess any more wouldn't be fit for a mobile game.
Combined with resurrection it pretty much renders support classes useless though.

So far it seems like it always was, with a little change on how you get weapons and skills. Leveling up is the same, but I haven't gotten any character to 20 yet, so I don't know what happens then.
You can chose one of 4 colors to roll for. Red for example will get you someone with a sword or 'red' magic (there's 3 types now, work the same as the weapon triangle), white a bowman, assassin or healer, and so on. So despite the randomness in you get a pretty good chance to get the class you want.
