Not the original dishwasher user but I have seen plenty of dipshit chefs as well. I think the fact that user actually sticks to his job speaks for his character. When I worked as one most new guys didn't last a month due to the workload, one was even found crying in a corner once. The fact user has been doing it for nine months shows he has work ethic.
In the time I worked there we went through 4 chefs and only 1 wasn't a complete egomaniac and actually good at his job.
