Where to start with Beatles solo albums?

...

just listen to the ones with high ratings on rym

just listen to their solo discogs chronologically until the albums get mediocre enough that you want to stop
each of their best solo albums was one of their first few

Listen to Ram, All Things Must Pass, Plastic Ono Band, and nothing else.

Maybe ironically listen to Cloud Nine and all of Ringos albums.

Rubber soul

Band On the Run and most of Paul's/Wings' singles are good too

Just start with Paul. Listen to McCartney through Tug of War, Off The Ground, Flaming Pie, Electric Arguments, and Chaos & Creation in the Backyard.

Start with All Things Must Pass
Then stop there

Just dont

Ram and All Things Must Pass btfo any actual Beatles record.
let that sink in

Don't listen to anything that doesn't have Yoko on it.

haha the fact that amirite

haha she did nothing wrong amirite

Start and stop with All Things Must Pass because it's the only good one

Pretty much. Why would she? She made some pretty kick-ass experimental stuff, and she has far more conceptual vision than any Beatles solo project (with the possible exception of Lennon's Plastic Ono Band.)

For George: And All things must pass, Living in the material world, George Harrison, Cloud 9 (guilty pleasure)
For John: Plastic Ono Band (John Lennon), Imagine, Mind Games
For Paul: Ram, Red rose speedway, Band on the run, McCartney II
For Ringo: Ringo

Go from there, expand if you hear stuff you like. Mostly earlier is better, but not always.

Plastic Ono band is the only album worth listening too

what does the word "solo" mean to you?

Never heard a full ringo album, but i just listened to "act naturally" and that song is fuckin hilarious. And sad. I love it. Ita the worst song on help, and it keeps edging its way closer to my fav

Harrison's last album, Brainwashed, is my favourite, even though he sounds like dying.

John-John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band
George-All Things Must Pass
Paul-McCartney
Ringo-Ringo

IT'S ALL DA DA DA DOWN TO GOODNIGHT VIENNA

Yeah its a great album, in his top 3 for me
