Joan Miro

Mark Tobey did some interesting things with squiggles.

...

photoshop "art" ....
Joan Miro ...
that went down the drain quickly.
I'm out

...

Morris Graves

...

...

Stuart Davis did pop culture and abstraction

...

Love to see this in the original, it's sand and water colors (Metamorphose souterraine by Andrè Masson)

explain

it's not art if it's made with software?
does a single line on physical canvas constitute as "real" art then?

you mustve been that faggot posting renaissance art in the last thread, so long normie

Irish cubist (Mainie Jellett)

Another Stuart Davis

Love that

This isn't Mark Tobey, it's Deviant Art inspired by him. Not bad.

...

...

...

...

Jean Dubuffet

Another

what the hell?

More Boogerman art!

Keke

Jiro Yoshihara. Surprisingly interesting despite just being a circle.

I really like that.

almost 5 centuries after

...

Looks like some college guys who were obsessed with monty python and the occult doing some performance art.

Good artist bump for more

...

Clyfford Still often worked in brighter colors, but I like this one

...

...

Here's another Morris Graves I like. Reminds me a bit of _Archaeopteryx lithographica_.

...

...

Love these new adds. Viewing art. Mozart playing. 3d chicks nonchalantly grinding in clickbait peripheral

And a much more abstract Graves

could you guys please help me?
i'm looking for two paintings that show a coastal city/harbor the morning before an invasion and during invasion.
i believe the city was greek and it was a battle from greek history or mythology.

Franz Kline.

No, this is not fanart of the final scene from Revenge of the Sith.

...

The artist definitely has problems getting the two wings on a plane the same size.

...

...

...

...

...

Antoni Tàpies

I can see the potential here
in a couple of decades he can reach 1/100 of the level reached by Ito Jakuchu

(pics too big to post)

Another. Love the detail.

That's barely art. You can see this on the average New York subway commute.

Very different approaches.

he dead already lel

Helps if you look at it as an abstract collection of colors and textures, not as s set of four bricks.

keepdriving/10

>colors
Greys, browns
>textures
sand, dirt and bubbles
No I'm standing by what I said

Anselm Kiefer, Osiris and Isis

...

Another Kiefer, Ash Flower.

...

...

that's like brutalism in architecture
I've an hard time calling it art

...

I woulda ran that dude over faster than a black lives matter supporter

The color scheme's similar to Brutalism, but I think overall it's a lot closer to abstract impressionism. Kiefer's painting has a lot of detail and texture.

Frank Auerbach

...

Another interesting portrait, this one by Antonio Saura

'portrait'

Another Saura

You don't recognize Bridgette Bardot?

Look like a skint up monkey dog.

Jean Bazaine

Laszlo Moholy-Nagy

Jean Fautrier

Stop doing this shit to my building, I am sick of fixing that shit!
